In Return of the Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi tells Luke Skywalker, "[…] what I told you was true, from a certain point of view. […] [Y] ou're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view." Austin Walker explores the unlikely partnership of bounty hunters Dengar and IG-88 as they pursue Han Solo. Little Golden Book · The Power of the Dark Side · The Film Novel (French) · So You Want to Be a Jedi? Dora Mar has an eidetic memory and has just been made a Chronicler by Mon Mothma. Her friend Tele, also with an eidetic memory, is one too (again, can we please have friends be friends). Dora though has to interview Han (who leave early but makes her think of the sun), Luke (who is more introspective than she expected and makes her think of a calm but confusing moon), Lando (who is flirty, always making a comparison to a game of cards, and makes her think of a magnetic field), and Leia (who is unyielding and straight, wanting ALL people to be part of the story). Despite Dora’s romantic side, her final notes and story mirror just how deep and true this short is. The history of the Kubaz being kept from making advances into space travel by the Empire and them being fed propaganda about this being the result of Rebel intervention, which is also how it was in Legends.

This is about Norra who is upset that she has missed so much time with Temmin (he’s 15, which really places Aftermath because I remembered it as being further out) and that she hasn’t found Brentin. Instead of making a message for Tem, she plays sabacc with her fellow pilots, and classic Wes flirts with everyone. Apocalyptic Log: "Of MSE-6 and Men" is presented as a systems log of internal Technobabble, diagnostics, and voices recorded by the mouse droid G7, up to the moment the Death Star arrived in range of Yavin 4 where it abruptly ends. No Biological Sex: Dianogas are functionally this and most identify as such, although some choose to be female or male. Death Star gunner Corr Lerrann is in his last week after 20 years of service with the Imperial Navy. His post-retirement plan is to develop safety rails. Later, his friends see just how needed they are. The Baptist", by Nnedi Okorafor: Taking place from the perspective of the dianoga as it comes across our heroes. Call to Adventure: Quite a few characters end their stories by leaving everything behind to answer it.

What a beautiful return to the story. Most of the short stories were either fun or heartbreaking. I especially loved Chapter 13 - My mouth never closes. The true story about the sarlacc. Such a misunderstood being. It had me laughing out loud. Do Androids Dream?: The fact that R5 has a bad feeling when R2 says the galaxy is doomed brings up the possibility that droids can be Force-sensitive, previously dismissed as impossible by all other characters in the franchise. It also seems to be a Mythology Gag-type nod towards how R5 was a Jedi droid in Infinities. That, or R5 just feels a little worried. My Mouth Never Closes - this was funny and silly and interesting at first but I feel like it drug out too long and repeated itself too often

40 years. 40 stories. #OperationBlueMilk revealed.

Like the collections that came before it, FACPOV: Return of the Jedi adds depth and nuance to the stories told in the third Star Wars movie. And it just might make many aspects of the beloved film even better. The 7th story is called Reputation, by Tara Sim. It's Boba Fett's POV of the battle of the Sarlacc pit. It ends just before he's thrown into it by a blind Han Solo. Now, if you've seen The Mandalorian, and later The Book of Boba Fett, you know he survives. The Chronicler - I like the idea of this story but I didn't enjoy reading it outside of Leia. Also did we all just forget Winter? The Buy-In - Despite how I didn't like the series I loved seeing these characters again, a little prequel. It was fun
