As Rodimus Prime, his first accomplishments were the defeat of Unicron and the return of Cybertron to the Autobots.INCH SCALE AUTOBOT HOT ROD: Figure features vivid, movie-inspired deco, is highly articulated for posability and comes with a blaster accessory inspired by the film

Available only with Star Convoy, Hot Rod's Micromaster form is a simplified version of his original toy, transforming into the same futuristic race car. Like all Micromasters, he features a notch in the base of his feet that allows him to peg inside Star Convoy's chest and stand on his base mode's rotating turret. Wheelie led them through the jungle, battling Quintessons along the way, until they reached Wheelie's crashed ship. Hot Rod was able to fix it, and everyone left the planet Quintesson, Wheelie included! The Story of Wheelie, the Wild Boy of Quintesson Doesn't this image just scream "buy the toys"? Boy, I sure want an action figure of Old Man Shivering In The Snow. One of the first concepts for Classics Rodimus was based around the Pagani Zonda super car, before the Dome Zero design was decided upon. In Primax 092.0 Beta, Rodimus (in his Micromaster body) was severely injured defending Zone from a Great Galaman invasion. Subsequently, Rodimus's essence was transferred into Duke Fire, Star Convoy's power-up being, and Rodimus became known as Fire Rodimus. Star Convoy and Fire Rodimus's powerful combined form, Supernova Convoy, defeated Star Giant and Ultra Megatron. Hot Rod accompanied Kup on a night drive in the desert, when he noticed a spacecraft barreling down from the heavens towards them. As it landed, Hot Rod perceived that it would alternate between being visible and invisible. Curious, he prompted Kup to come with him to investigate. In a later altercation with Sixshot, Rodimus attempted to use his Photon Eliminator gun to strike down the fleeing ninja. Though he managed to shoot every other Decepticon on the battlefield, he failed to hit his intended target. Rodimus sat pouting in the corner as the other Autobots convened to register their disappointment that Rodimus let Sixshot get away. Photon Eliminator

Joining God Ginrai and Ultra Magnus in an assault on Mega Zarak, Rodimus was terrified when the mammoth Decepticon unleashed his titanic Anti-Gravity Rifle. Fortunately for the Autobots, the gun jammed and Mega Zarak was left fiddling with it while they opened fire. Anti-Gravity Rifle Hot Rod was forged during the Great War between the Autobots and Decepticons. Although some of his comrades convinced themselves that conflict was intrinsically ingrained into their civilization, the fact that Hot Rod had never known a Cybertron at peace didn't make his duty of fighting against the Decepticons any easier. In time, Hot Rod rose to become "Rodimus Prime" then, at some point afterwards, shed the title to become simply "Rodimus". During his career, Rodimus stood shoulder-to-shoulder with many heroes of the war, including Optimus Prime, but developed a one-sided rivalry with Thunderclash. He also at some point had a familiarity with a " lost light". Last Bot Standing #2 This Classics/ Henkei-based Sons of Cybertron set is a counterpart to TakaraTomy's Transformers Animated Sons of Cybertron set, which also features translucent versions of Animated Deluxe Class Optimus Prime and Rodimus.
