My latest 3DS is the SNES themed New 3DS XL. There weren't many new units available since Switch was already out by the time I got. It's still seen a good bit of use but I haven't carried it around with me like the previous two since there are no StreetPass chances anymore. I've been thinking about buying one of these for my 5 y/o nephew. Maybe for Christmas. He occasionally likes playing games on my 3DS, but he always makes me nervous with it. He's a good kid, he wouldn't mean to break it, but kids at that age always get random energy impulses and lapses in attention span where they just spontaneously do things without thinking twice about it. 3D is out, 2D is in

There are some out there who prefer Majora's Mask to Ocarina of Time (a big battle and we salute you for flying your flag so defiantly), so it makes sense that Nintendo would make the most of this debate and also release a Majora edition of the previous Hyrule design.

Some time later, my blue 2DS started having very short battery life, and I eventually replaced it with a Zelda edition green 2DS, which is the one I still currently use. A major problem with the DSi was the L and R buttons, which broke because of dust buildup ( blowing into it will momentarily fix the problem, but will end up ruining the device eventually from the moisture that comes when you blow). The 2DS' L and R buttons seem sturdier.All games and DSiWare can be used and transferred to the 2DS, but the data will be deleted and the transfer cannot be undone It's an all-time great and many of us hold it up as one of the 'best DS designs evs' (except not phrased exactly like we're a cool kid in an early-2000s movie).
