The embroidery machines have a large embroidery area so you can express your creative ideas and make even bigger and more intricate designs. The one downside is the Brother Innovis F420 doesn't come with a Walking foot for quilting. It's quite capable of patchwork, but if you need to go further and stitch the layers of material together as a quilt you'll need to spend money on a proper Waking foot. With the Eco-mode function, the Innov-is V5 will automatically switch to an energy-saving sleep mode after a period of non-use - great for the environment and electricity bills too! The angle of the faceplate has been improved so it is easier to reach the needle when it needs changing. We loved the option for the automatic reverse or reinforcement stitch button and the button sewing foot, both of which aren't very often included with a sewing machine at this price point.
