I used to mess around with a parasol, which nearly drove me insane, having to twist it this way and that way every time I turned a corner! However the koo-di sun and sleep shade totally covers your baby and protects him from the sun. Me 33 years, DP 46 years. ttc 5 years. Unexplained infertility. Several unsuccessful cycles of clomid . I have one, nice fit on techno, used it when dd was tiny (under six months) but the following summer she wouldnt entertain the idea. month old dd has almost translucent skin she's so fair and I'm terrified of her burning. Parasols don't seem to provide enough cover and need constant rearranging. So I was looking at a full shade. I would definately get something other than a parasol thing if you can. With a parasol you have to reposition it every time you go around a corner and mine has even blown off the pushchair on a not-very-windy day but obviously a gust caught it just at the right time, and I had to chase the damn thing into the road (don't panic, I parked the puschair first ).

we have a shade a babe. they are brilliant. especially if the alternative is an ordinary parasol or sun tan lotion. dd is almost completely shaded by the 100% bit and has never burnt under the 'bee keeper' bit either. i am very impressed. we also have their cosy toe, which is also brilliant. apparently you can use both together on a skiing holiday. we have not done this. I would say yes as it is just a canopy over the hood of the pushchair which puts the little one totally in a uv shade. I intend using it with Lucas this summer too. Main area unzips for simple use of kid.

I use the Shade a babe on my Jane single 3 wheeler and think it is great. You just wrap the velcro over the push handle. I dont bother with any of the other velcro straps. I also use it on my Maclaren with no problems. The original high protection sun and sleep shade designed to protect your baby’s delicate eyes and skin from the sun. Now with a snooze blind so it can be naptime, anytime. Hello, I was given a koo-di sun and sleep shade to my by my sister (who is a baby guru!) and it really is fab.Def recommend them, quite a few of my friends use them and on a normal pushair they completely cover baby uv shade-wise but they can still fully see where they are going. Solar-screen™ front panel – A see-through mesh front panel screens 90% of UVA & UVB yet still allows your child to see out (it is rather like looking through sunglasses). It also protects from flying insects. The mesh panel can be zipped closed or left partially or fully open, as required.
