Description

Later, while living in Saint Agnes Orphanage, Matt developed a kinship with kind-hearted priest Father Lantom, who went on to become his mentor. Matt was also cared for by a nun named Maggie, whom Matt didn’t know was actually his birth mother. During his time in the orphanage, Matt had nightmares so vivid that he’d scream out for help. Sister Maggie would always rush to his aid. One night, after calling out, Maggie didn’t come to his bedside. He never asked for anything from her, or anyone, again. Matt became an angry boy who was constantly getting into fights. He believed God had granted him super hearing so he could listen in on people’s prayers and aid them in whatever way they needed.
