Blendin's letter | Explosion muffin | Granny Sweetkin's Yarnball | Huggy Wuvvy Tummy Bundle | Human-sized hamster balls | Jack-o'-melons | Mabel's sweaters | May May and the Hogg A. It is more than a replica, because it provides closure for any fan of the series, and serves as an epilogue for the series finale. Journal 3 brims with every page ever seen on the show plus all-new pages with monsters and secrets, notes from Dipper and Mabel, and the Author’s full story. The first section - the Author's original notes - are enjoyable without any context, as well as Dipper and Mabel's additions that they make throughout the show's run, but after that, things kind of require the context of the show to be fully understood and appreciated. Stanley was hot-headed, not the greatest mind, and brawny while Stanford had a brilliant mind and six fingers on each hand.

In the pilot episode the cover page of the journal was going to have a pentagram instead of a six finger hand. So Alex Hirsch brought this book to life, creating a 288-page hardcover tome of journal entries, illustrations, ciphers, hidden messages in the bindings, references to every episode, a massive expansion of its world-building, and so, so much more. Journal 3 Special Edition copy number 0in 2018, Alex Hirsch revealed that there was one more copy of Journal 3 Special Edition in existence, bringing the total number of copies ever made to 10,001. As Vigenère ciphers are a bit more complicated, consider the following example: we want to encrypt the message MABELEATSSPRINKLES and use GRAVITY as the key.At the moment when Mabel wins Waddles the pig at the Mystery Fair, Dipper ruins his chance to impress Wendy. This is a book many dark forces want to get their hands on, so beware anyone who tries to take it from you (especially if they have glowing yellow eyes)! In a desperate last act, Ford threw the journal back to Stan, crying for him to "do something," but he vanished before the panicking Stan could act.

This book is close to perfect and a must have for any Gravity Falls fan (though chances are, if you're a GF fan, you've already got it). In one of the invisible ink entries of the Special Edition of the book, Ford wonders if there is a polar opposite force to Bill in the universe, accompanied by a picture of a starry night that lights up in the shape of a constellation that resembles an axolotl in the black light. The family decided to throw them into the Bottomless Pit to rid themselves of the trouble caused by them, and because things thrown into the pit could end up anywhere. The Axolotl is a powerful extra-dimensional creature whose power ranks massively above that of Time Baby, Bill Cipher, and other types of powerful extra-dimensional creatures. When it was first seen, it was layered with dust, and 2 has small tears on the cover, while 1 is in a worse state, as it has larger tears. Together, "composition," "pulverize," "digestion," and "fusion" is the code Stan uses to enter his secret laboratory.
