A medida que su vida se revela lentamente, comencé a temer por ella. Que esta nueva vida que ella misma hizo podría ser quitada en cualquier momento. La parte final del libro está llena de drama. All across the USA, people are showing up dead. The deaths don't appear to be connected in any way until one particular death occurs and gets the Secretary of Defense's attention. He arranges for a task force to investigate. The four Fletchers can’t keep running. Tyranny reign’s and a war between the survivors and the RAMs. The survivors realize it’s time to take a stand. And they need a hero, the kind that can meet this horror head on. Erin flees her abusive alcoholic husband, Kevin, takes on a different identity and changes her name to Katie. She arrives in Southport, North Carolina. Finding work at a seafood restaurant, she becomes friends with her neighbor, Jo, and gets to know the town's general store owner, Alex. This was my first time reading Nicholas Sparks. I never even seen any of the movies. I must say I am a new fan, for sure. This story was truly beautiful. I don't know if I can even explain why I loved this book so much. The characters are great, the romance is done well, and the conclusion was deeply satisfying. I am eager to see the film, now!

Kevin is another story. That man has serious demons that have driven his mind to insanity. Legit psycho!!! He is that villain that you hate with a passion and seeing inside his head was the most disturbing thing ever! I mean for someone who quotes the bible a lot, the world he lived in was just wrong in every single aspect. Safe haven is the story of Katie, a beautiful young woman who is in an abusive relationship with her husband. Later, she runs away from him to a safe place, a small North Carolina town in Southport. She remains to herself in the new place. But a set of circumstances lead her into two new people. A widowed store owner of Southport, Alex, who becomes her romantic interest. Secondly, her neighbor Jo, who becomes her best friend. Will Katie find her safe haven in the new place? The story unfolds itself through some unexpected and mystical incidents. I should start off by saying that I already knew I would love this book before actually reading it. I've been a huge Nicholas Sparks fan since high school! Happy to say I loved this and I was captivated from the very beginning. I know his writing style can be a bit difficult to get used to, and some people find it boring. I do not find it boring at all. After the fire, Alex recovers several letters written by his late wife Carly before she died. They were prepared ahead of time for important events such as Josh's eighteenth birthday and Lexie's wedding day. He also reconciles with Josh.

Turkeys' Gets Date, 'Safe Haven' Shifts". Deadline.com. November 16, 2012 . Retrieved February 24, 2013. Julianne Hough as Erin Tierney / Katie Feldman, a young woman who flees her abusive husband and Alex's new girlfriend. Lucy, Alex, Mike, and Jules are each embroiled in the act of trying to survive the zombies. They have friends they are trying to save as well. The odds are terrible. The horrific virus is relentless and seemingly impossible to escape from. The effort of trying to survive is so exhausting. Sometimes it easier to think about just letting it take you.

The Relentless trilogy was as much of a surprise to me as it was to everyone else. I was in the process of writing a Safe Haven book when this small cast of characters came into my head. If memory serves, I wrote over six thousand words on that first day and the Relentless story came to life. Christopher Artinian, born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire, left England and moved to the north-west of Scotland in the Outer Hebrides in 2004. His goal was to escape the hectic live in a big city and gain a better quality of life. He still lives there with his wife and dogs. Safe Haven follows the life of Katie, as she tries to hide from her husband, Kevin. Basically she has been physically abused by her husband for years and she finally decides to run. She arrives at Southport emotionally and physically scarred, and begins to form a new life. There she starts a relationship with Alex, who is a widowed father of two children, and she slowly begins to let her guard down. Not to mention her friendship with Jo! For the sake of their younger sister and brother, they have to travel. Their journey is going to be filled with danger and too many unknowns. If they don’t travel far north, they will certainly die. They need to travel to find a safe haven.

When a mysterious young woman (Julianne Hough) arrives in a small North Carolina town, her reluctance to join the tight-knit community raises questions about her part. Slowly, she begins putting down roots, and gains the courage to start a relationship with Alex (Josh Duhanel), a widowed store owner with two young children. But dark secrets intrude on her new life with such terror that she is forced to rediscover the meaning of sacrifice and rely on the power of love in this deeply moving romantic thriller. As always, Sparks’s prose is polished, fluent and readily accessible. The narrative is very straight-forward, there is a minimum of sub-plots and deviations. The climax is tense, with the fiery, violent showdown at Alex’s store and Katie’s home being well-written and riveting reading. The stuff about Jo was a bit naff for me, but I imagine it would go down a treat with a lot of readers. The answer is to comment on an excellent piece of work despite Spitznagel’s disdain for commentators, all the while laying out likes, questions, and presumed dislikes. Up front, Spitznagel’s book is very easy to like. A lot. Overall, nothing revolutionary, but it was enjoyable and as Sparks' novels go, it had a nice ending rather than a soul destroying one. :) About what’s been written, it’s just a speculation. As the author makes clear, readers would be wise to not try the lessons learned in Safe Haven at home.
