The Cruise is the first book I have read by Caroline James and I can definitely say it won’t be my last. But I think my personal favourite (so far…) might just have been her first book with One More Chapter, The Spa Break – a wonderful fun-filled story of female friendship, and of sheer bravery as each woman took the opportunities and chances they were offered, gained a different perspective on their lives, and realised what they had been missing (you’ll find my full review here– and yes, of course it was one of my 2022 Books of the Year!). Could there be any better way of spending a wet Saturday afternoon than curling up with her latest?
