Whereas GoT was a sprawling epic told all across and beyond Westeros featuring many clashing houses, House of the Dragon instead focuses on the Targaryen family at the height of their power, yet also at a critical time in their rule that will define Westerosi history going forward. A New Reign (HD; 3:09) is another brief piece featuring interviews with showrunners Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan J. Set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series finds the Targaryens ruling over the Seven Kingdoms - and on the brink of a civil war within their own house.

It means that you're watching it (almost) with the colors and lighting that the color graders were using. If you're still watching in vivid mode, and don't know how to set up your display, I strongly recommend that you at least get your TV in the correct mode, and get your black levels, contrast, and color setup properly. part of Daemon (there's some rather interesting subtext with regard to this uncle and niece which adds to the drama).

The features also make a point of how the creatives wanted to showcase the visual style of sets like the Red Keep and the power of the Targaryen dynasty with the architecture being more complex than Game of Thrones.
