On paper, this looks like a very powerful NUC and a bargain price from Geekom. Based on the 2021 launched Ryzen 9 5900HX mobile processor, this tiny system comes in a single SKU with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe 3.0 NVMe storage. The benefit of Android TV is that it’s designed to work with standard remote controls. But you don’t have that in pure Android. Some things NEED an air-mouse to replicate touching a different part of the screen.

Mini PCs, also known as minicomputers, are a variant of computers that possess most of the features and capabilities of a large computer but are smaller in size. Today's best mini PCs are a great alternative to bulky full-size desktops and all-in-one systems for all kinds of uses: from administrative workers doing data entry, to customer service specialists and call center offices, to creative professionals and students learning at home. What is the best use of a mini PC?

So, unfortunately, I had to buy an extra piece of hardware to use the NEO U22-XJ. That’s not a good start to this review. Laptops serve as a great all-in-one solution with everything you need to work and play. Accessories like keyboards and a dual monitor set-up are optional. They also come with a range of tech specs, with options for everyday computing tasks right up to high-powered gaming laptops. A big reason why? Graphics acceleration and other essential features, handled in the past by separate chips or bulky cards, have been subsumed under the CPU. Nowadays, miniaturization is getting to the point where you can't go all that much smaller. You need to leave some space for ports to plug in a thing or two. While the best mini PCs absolutely shine, they’re not without a few downsides. When it comes to specs, mini PCs pale in comparison to modern desktop computers and the very best laptops. This makes it difficult to use hardware-intensive apps and processes, like any of the best video editing software tools. Upgrading those lower-specced internals is usually out of the question. You won’t generally be able to upgrade the components in your mini PC (at least, not without some technical knowledge and skill).

In particular, some of the larger, newer Intel NUC models have begun including, or at least offering the option, for GPU support. The 2018 "Kaby Lake-G" Intel NUC Kit NUC8i7HVK "Hades Canyon"(since out of support) included AMD's peppy Radeon RX Vega M graphics acceleration on the same die as processor. (Earlier Intel NUCs relied solely on Intel's own integrated HD Graphics or Iris solutions.) That means well-above-average graphics performance in a system this size.

The CX-919's benchmark scores match its excellent real-world performance. On AnTuTu, a test which measures overall performance, the CX-919 scored an impressive 15,432, more than double the tablet category average of 7,740 and more than 70 percent higher than the dual-core Measy U2C (9,156) and the quad-core Zealz GK802 (8,872). On An3DBench, a graphics benchmark, the CX-919 bested the competition with a score of 8,018, well above the 7,320 category average, the Zealz GK802's score of 7,395 and the Android Mini PC RK3066's mark of 7,366.
