After processing, we recommend rinsing with cool water, without shampoo. Conditioning the ends is optional.Generally, for most people, the deeper tones can last up to 42 washes, and the lighter tones up to 25 washes until the color is fully out. With Pulp Riot, the color fades true to tone. Proper application is important to increasing the lifespan of the color. Pulp Riot should be applied to clean, dry hair. We do not recommend conditioning the hair right before applying the color, because some conditioners can act as a barrier, not allowing the color to properly adhere (this is especially true of deep conditioning treatments.)
