Very funny, and also very relatable, the books are really good on there own but if you want some more character development and context I would read the first three. Bedoel, er waren echt wel leuke stukjes maar ik vond het hele Daniel/Frans vriendje niet echt tof van Lottie, Frans vriendje was echt heel vreemd opeens zo ging hij van echt een leuke jongen naar een rotjong die een hele harem heeft en ik heb nog steeds geen idee of hij weet wat er is gebeurd of dat hij echt een eikel is, Amber vond ik ook op punten vreselijk, Puntneus sorry Phoebe was verschrikkelijk, Lottie maakte er echt een drama van, en vader/broer van Lottie mogen best eens wat aardiger zijn tegen Lottie. My 10 year old daughter absolutely loves the Lottie Brooks series… if can be quite hard to find books for her age which are relevant but appropriate, and these are spot on!

I really liked the first Lottie brooks book so I expected to much of this one but it was still a really good book it’s a funny book and you don’t have to stay super focused I would recommend it for when you can’t sit down and read it properly like in a waiting room or a busy holiday.It was really fun to read and I am really surprised Amber started standing up for herself and others! Maar ook genoeg leuke punten: Leuke illustraties, leuke vriendschappen, het kamp en wat daar zoal gebeurde (behalve puntneus), chat/tekstberichtjes, heerlijk gelachen om hoe getraumatiseerd kinderen kunnen zijn als volwassenen zoenen, zien dat Lottie ook echt groeit + een groep meiden vindt dat haar accepteren en waar ze zichzelf kan zijn, er waren wat lieve Daniel x Lottie momenten bij het kamp (al was er ook genoeg drama), ik was blij dat moeders ook snapte dat Lottie echt wel haar best deed, het 13 jaar feestje voor Lottie was geweldig en ik moest lachen om wat Amber deed om het feestje iets meer leven te brengen, en er is ook genoeg humor en tiener drama waar je je afvraagt, was ik ook zo erg? My 9-year-old daughter devoured it in two nights, and all I could hear from her was giggling and the occasional "Mum!
