When I switched back and forth between the Dolby Vision and HDR10 renderings, I felt that the DV presentation revealed better definition in the darkest portions of the image, and slightly deeper primary color reproduction. I had gotten the Season 1 HDR release used for around 20 bucks a cupole of years ago and thought that is was a definite improvement over the Blu-ray set. The season is only six episodes in length and opens with Jon Snow and Daenerys arriving in Winterfell to a less than enthusiastic welcome.
