I loved the rest of this series. A while ago, I reviewed the first one, "Meet Me in London", and was excited for this fourth and final part of the "Meet Me" series. I enjoyed this, but it felt longer than the others. Maybe my mood was the issue as much as anything, though.

A modern, feisty heroine… Georgia had me rooting for Lily’s happy ever after right from the start.’ Jo Bartlett , Bestselling author of The Cornish Midwife series

The characters are robust, and we have followed them through before. I think you could read this as a stand-alone novel, as there is enough to cover not knowing the rest of the series. I enjoyed the ending, a perfect end to a delightful series. I loved the epilogue set ten years later which gives the reader an insight into the future of all the characters. Lily loves living in Hawke's Cove, and planning her best friend's wedding at the Hawkesbury estate is the icing on the cake. But when the estate's owner dies, and his son cancels the wedding, Lily must face Henry Hawkesbury - a man she hasn't seen since that fateful night ten years ago... puts down a positive disclaimer of the whole cycle of portents which, when he wrote, had begun to hover in romantic and exaggerated fashion around the infancy and minority of Jesus. When Henry needs Lily’s help, she will only agrees to come to his aid if the wedding can go ahead. Working together means both must face their pasts, and in doing so might just realise something about their future along the way 👀 But before that was have Lily's story at long last, and I loved everything about it, and her interactions with Henry were fabulous. But when the estate’s owner dies, and his son cancels the wedding, Lily must face Henry Hawkesbury – a man she hasn’t seen since that fateful night ten years ago… I absolutely loved this book and think it just piped Meet Me in London to the top spot for me. There is just so much content in this and so many heartfelt moments that I couldn’t help but love it. I also really warmed to both Henry and Lily and the way that they were able to help each other to take those vital steps forward with their lives. I thought this was a fantastic conclusion to the series and I loved how it ended! The relationships and friendships and interactions between the characters are so enjoyable!

Meet Me at the Wedding by Georgia Toffolo | Goodreads

Henry wants nothing more than to return to Hawke's Cove, sell his estranged late father's estate and leave. He certainly does not want to host a wedding, or face Lily, who gets on with everyone - except him! Three days later Mary, the mother of Jesus, was at a wedding feast in the village of Cana in Galilee. I loved how the characters voices felt consistent over the series, which just shows what a great job the authors managed to do, while putting this series together. As you know the Meet Me series gives all four friends their own book, which personally I loved, I loved seeing their friendships in all of them, I loved the references and connections. Reading the series as a whole definitely adds to the experience however it is not necessary for you to have read the series to read this book or any of the other ones as they all do work as stand alone. Reuniting her “awesome foursome” of friends from Meet Me in London , bestselling celebrity author Georgia Toffolo ’s charming enemies-to-lovers rom-com is an undeniably tart and sweet treat. Though nothing is smooth sailing and there were plenty of clashes and also rather emotional moments. Plus the book starts with the biggest amount of the accident that we have seen between the four books, from 10 years ago, where things changed for all four of the friends, and it also changed Henry's life that night too. These items traveled far and wide…. I’m so grateful to my aunts for making this moment possible. Photo: La Dichosa Sorry, this just wasn't for me, way too many superfluous characters it was like Avengers Endgame all over again! Huge fun! A swirl of confetti made of joy, romance and just a few tears.” —Bestselling author Katie FfordeTen years ago Lily and her three friends were involved in a terrible car crash, involving Henry and another classmate called Claudia, on their way to the end of school dance. Each of them bear scars from that night whether physical or mental.
