I really recommend this for anyone who is looking for a versatile fragrance that's not necessarily a "blue" fragrance. I suppose I gained that bet because I found BBE to be quite an above average fragrance since the first whiff. It is rich (despite being unobtrusively “thin”), deep, vibrant, it has a brilliant evolution from the sharp boozy-leathery-patchouli opening (the leather in particular is really good here for me – Amouage-like, again) to a fantastic amber-incense drydown with sweet echoes of benzoin, leather and talc. It is hard to say about the sillage, but you will definitely continue to smell the scent for a long time. This is really nice though its powerful so beware of the sprays, it starts low and just keeps growing off you for hours.

For a fail-safe option, DIOR’s Sauvage aftershave – a brand favourite ever since its inception in 1966 – is guaranteed to start every day on the right fragrance note. The leather notes have been enhanced with natural rum essence to give the composition incredible fullness and an elegantly addictive character. Nevertheless it's not really very similar to any of them, with the sole exception of Carven l'Eau Intense. I was very impressed witrh Silverlake, but the OG and Intense are disappointig to the point I regret the purchase.All it still staying in the mix after base notes start to appear, with exception of bergamot than dissipates completely within 2 hours (which is still very long time for bergamot to be present). The minimum look to go with it is casual, but it's better to go with a classic look as it will highlight your image and status. It's in someway redundant, but it's nice to make the shift from one to the other, with the added note of incense. I'll continue to wear this in April while it's still cool out, and look forward to rocking this again when October rolls around. There is nothing ground breaking here or unique, but if you want a nice fresh blue fragrance, this is for you.

This is a very versatile fragrance, which could be wore thro spring, summer, fall and even in the winter. My thanks also, very much, to all who have shared their thoughts and experiences of the thousands of fine smelling juices. The product is not the best, but it is good and last all day, and the non magnetic cap and the shoulders of the flacon feel as quality.

The sweet tangerine might aim a bit more toward spring and summer time, but to me it is not dominant enough to exclude this from a winter wear.
