Guess the Animal When it’s time to play, have guests sit in a circle with the gift they brought, or select a pre-wrapped gift to start off with.Wrap the gift as many times as you have energy for. If you want to be fancy, you can use different paper between each layer… or you can keep it simple and use newspaper like we did as kids. Between each layer, write a note for the person to do when they unwrap that layer. I have included a good list of forfeits below.

The number represents how many children the parcel must be passed to.

If there is a gift or sweet under the layer that they have taken off, this is theirs to keep. If there is a joke or task, they should read it out loud. In the case of task, they should perform it, however embarrassing they might find it! One thing to be aware of is that it’s easier if the person who is reading the story is not also playing the game. Some people jump at the chance to participate in a White Elephant, Secret Santa, or similar Christmas gift exchange. But others? They’d rather pass. Share a Hilarious "Bad Date" Story: Lay down your funniest dating disaster – the more cringeworthy, the better the laughs. Alternatively, you can put together all the gifts, and include one or two that are of a higher price range to make things a little more fun.
