An elderly couple exuding an air of the supernatural, an old lady hearing strange nosies as she sits alone in her home and battered woman plotting revenge against her partner are among them.Both timelines pull you in and you are rooting for both Stella and Tamzin and want to discover their stories. While not particularly fleshed-out, Jill and Katie are still presented as different from Tamzin, though none of their forms of womanhood and femininity—or lack thereof—are ever demonised.
