Theres something so magical in the first chapter of this book that made me stick around until I read the last page.

With 50 hand-selected, hand-painted owls, this is a delightful gift which appeals to owl lovers, bird-watching enthusiasts, children, adults and art and design fans alike. The unraveling of his secrets and slow progression of Jack and Bex’s romance kept me glued to the pages. Beatrix (Bex) has a love of drawing anatomy and is trying to get permission to sit in on the medical school anatomy classes so she can sketch the people who have given their bodies to science to be dissected so she can try to win a scholarship and become a medical illustrator. Bex and Jack like each other as soon as they set eyes on one another, they are drawn to each other straight away and are happily in love by the halfway point.The story walks the reader through the end of the day in the natural world while teaching them yoga poses inspired by friends from nature, and reminds the reader to slow their breathing. I wanted more of them… more of their banter and more of them falling for each other, because those were two of my most favorite things here.

And he's just so perfect because despite the fact that every girl is after him and he's ridiculously handsome. Murakami never tries to talk you into becoming a runner, but his book does make you want to look at your own habits and maybe find something of your own that you love as much. Beatrix, “Bex” Adams wants to be a medical illustrator, a highly competitive field, and is trying to win scholarship money to aid that future.This book is such a quick and adorable read that will entertain and delight fans of the contemporary genre. One of my favorite parts was when Bex and Jack talk about sex and can I just tell you how much I love his eagerness to make sure she gets what she needs and they are just so adult and mature about it and what an amazing representation of two people who are in a spot in their lives where they are responsible enough to be having sex. or with this: you know once in a while you read a book that you don't just read, you drink it in, you sip every word, you taste every moment happening and you think "man, this is an appetizing read!
