I find the support page on Logitech and downloaded the software from there, but when I try to install it says that I'm trying to run a 32 bit application on a 64 bit OS. We’re not endorsed by, affiliated with or supported by them, and they don’t warrant the accuracy or quality of the information. when you download FS2020, the first part (about 1Go) must be on your Windows drive (C:) and the second part (95. For my wheel, the x axis ranges are by default 0-128-255 (first value is leftmost turn range, third value is rightmost turn range), so I can set up 96-128-160 to get a much narrower wheel range.

Yet another customizable feature found on the X52, a tension adjustment dial lets you choose the throttle's resistance to suit the way you fly. Even the switches on the base of the throttle are staggered or separated so telling them apart from feel alone is possible, leaving you free to concentrate on the immersive VR experience. Once you assign the axis, you'll see a little bar on the bottom appear which shows the degree of movement. This will let you assign not only increase and decrease buttons, but also the axis, which is what you want for the joystick.Hi, I just made an account because I was having the same issue and figured it out, so I'd like to help you out too. It turns out that the MSFS2020 controller profiles for the X52 has a hardware GUID ID and product ID that does NOT match those of my X52 for keymapping detection. I have the steam version but the same will apply for any version, just locatate the input directory in your MSFS2020 install directory.

that used to be at the top of nearly every single word processor and web browser have either been removed or replaced with a bunch of meaningless icons now. When they just arbitrarily move crap from where it had been for ages then it's hidden as far as I am concerned. Seems Ive now found a solution so thought Id sign up to this forum and create a post to help you all out. I have the saitek X52 (not the pro, the silver one) and when i map the roll -X +X axis and pitch -Y+Y axis , i dont get the white slider bar under each of the assigments in the control configuration menu. As suggested I started the sim with my X52 Pro unplugged and then while on the controls page I plugged it back in and it detected the new controller, followed the instruction to apply the defaults and now the thing is working. This doesn't let you map the axis, so all you're mapping is increase and decrease in a binary sense. Coordinate your flight plan with clock and stopwatch function, plus an adjustable handle to accommodate a wide range of hand sizes. I HIGHLY SUGGEST WRITING DOWN YOUR DEVICE AXIS RANGE VALUES BEFORE USING DXTweat by using the default Windows joystick properties, on Linux with jstest (now in linuxconsoletools package on some distros) or other program, so that you can revert the changes.

To use it correctly - and with results - first of all I have to open the Windows properties of my steering wheel where I can see how my device functions - which buttons I press and how the axis behaves. Well I have same issue but the file folder because its the XBOX on pc version is locked so noone can get accdess to change anything That is BS. exe but I guess this is not necessarily a good idea, as now my hardware driver in the properties tab has "Driver date: 2017-04-20" and "Driver version: 8. AVSIM is staffed completely by volunteers and all funds donated to AVSIM go directly back to supporting the community. Anyways, I set up my steering wheel axis rage with DXTweat and THEN I have to use 'Set default' and also 'Set' in the Windows joysticks that I previously opened to see the results of how my steering wheel behaves.

The X52's LCD screen - with adjustable backlighting - enables you to view information about your button configurations with only a quick glance. The X-56 places controls perfectly under your fingers where subtle distinctions in button feel and shape help you navigate the control set with ease. I'm certain I've used Windows calibratin before but seems to have completely vanished no matter where I look. should have bought the steam version,,,second problem is when I try the start then plug it in it crashes to desktop so That won't work neather.

Perhaps some USB controllers change things (unlikley) or perhaps the X52 was sold with different IDs depending on age or geo location. So - I went through the same process as you all and messed about with drivers and several attempts at unplugging and replugging at different stages. I'm using X56 HOTAAS, installed correctly, but Logitech's util won'y let me correct teh Z-Axis drift I've developed. I have several files (it depens of the plane) and no probleme to choose the good Keyboard and Saitek profiles. On Windows 10 it is not there so I had to add a dead zone, but all evening my ships have been slowly rolling to the right.

I find it peculiar that all other flight sims such as DCS, flight sim x, and even war thunder, have immediately recognized the X52 and had default assignments. Three mode settings and a pinkie switch provide enhanced programming options for even more control options in your favorite sim. When you move the joystick or throttle, it's treating the move as a singular increase in the control surface/throttle. Therefore, I moved it to a backup folder (in case this wouldn't be the problem) from C:\Windows\System32, and then copied the original C:\Windows\SysWOW64\joy. Boasting detents for afterburner and idle, the throttle unit's progressive functionality improves aircraft response.
