The gameplay between the Tamagotchi Pix and Pix Party is essentially the same: you start with an egg, it hatches, and then it’s time to raise your new digital pet. You take care of their basic needs, feed and bathe them, and perform other tasks to figure out what they love. Then when they become adults, you help train them with skills for the real (virtual) world. As well, I'd like to know if the Pix Party improved upon the Pix Wave 2 with battery life & button response times. The party doesn’t have to stop after the holidays if you’re a new owner of a Tamagotchi Pix Party! Even if you’re well seasoned enough that you’ve already been celebrating with your device all season long, a little refresher can be a great way to ensure you’re getting the most out of your Tamagotchi Pix Party! Social: The user can upload photos from the album on to a social network where other characters can like it. The photo must be cropped and given a caption before posting. Exciting New Tamagotchi Pix Party Features!

Inviting a character to a party 5+ times. Note that the character must be the same gender and egg group as the user's current Tamagotchi to be obtained. The invite must also come from the user's Tama List, as invitations through QR code do not count. A lot more to LIKE! A social feed built into the device will allow you to safely show your Tama adventures with your Tamagotchi character’s friends. Arcade Games: Six different games are available at the Arcade. Only two games will be available depending on the day of the month. Gift Game: The user must select an item, accessory, or furniture to give away as a gift. Gifted items are lost. The gift will be swapped with other presents and the user must swipe the buttons in time with the music until it stops.
