Stinky Pete meets his defeat at the hands of the Andy's toys, while Lotso meets his defeat at the hands of a garbage man. Vanilla Flavor 1st Sheet • Vanilla Flavor 2nd Sheet • Vanilla Flavor 3rd Sheet • Vanilla Flavor 4th Sheet • Vanilla Flavor Last Sheet

After Woody and Buzz save his life, he seemingly tries to help them in return by using the emergency stop button to stop the conveyor belt leading to the incinerator... only for Lotso to abandon them once he no longer needs their help to escape. He shows his cowardice again during the incinerator scene where he begs Woody and his friends to help him, only to leave them behind to save himself immediately afterwards.

Tempting Fate: When he tells everyone that "we're all just TRASH, waiting to be THROWN AWAY! THAT'S ALL A TOY IS!" Guess what Big Baby does to him afterwards. Personality [ ] "The guy may seem plush and huggable on the outside, but inside, he's a monster." — Buttercup reveals what Lotso is.

Strawberry Shorthand: Lotso smells like strawberries, which makes him appear more likable than he really is. Well, hello there. I thought I heard new voices. Welcome to Sunnyside, Folks! I'm Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear, but please call me Lotso. Lotso is the only main Toy Story 3 character not to appear in the film's epilogue during the end credits.Murder by Cremation: He actually tries killing Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of Andy's toys by literally leaving them all behind to die in a garbage incinerator (which is actually the toy equivalent of a crematorium). The heroes were all saved by the Aliens with the help of a large claw overhead, but still... Lotso never gets over it. In true Pixar fashion, he is a gently soiled anthropomorphic pink teddy bear who uses a cane yet is nevertheless infinitely more human and complex than the vast majority of human cinematic protagonists. Lotso is so intent on never allowing himself to get hurt the way he did when his owner abandoned him that he hardens his heart, ignores the dictates of his conscience, and commits himself to the blind pursuit and cold-hearted display of power. Even before this pleasant-smelling, cuddly, huggable figure of rage and resentment enters the equation Toy Story 3 is already bracingly dark. The shatteringly emotional plot finds Andy, the owner of the toys from the first two films, growing up and going to college. Coincidentally, the music that played during Lotso's defeat was the same music heard during Stinky Pete's defeat. Cool Old Guy: Is quite friendly to the toys when they first arrive to the Day Care. Eventually subverted, since he is a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing. His Cool Old Guy persona is just a front for his true personality as a truly vicious monster that's utterly rotten. When Lotso is helped to the Emergency Stop button on the trash conveyor belt, rather than pressing the button to stop the belt and save the other toys, he glares at them and yells, "Where's your kid now, Sheriff?!" This is a wink to the Internet meme "Where is your God now?", a sarcastic way of inducing fear in a victim, [1] which was based on the 1956 film The Ten Commandments, where Edward G. Robinson remarked to Charlton Heston "Where's your Messiah now?"

Pixar created seven different versions of Lotso to represent different periods of his life: New, New Dirty, New Filthy, New Wet, New Soaked, Standard, and Standard Filthy [3]. Lotso shares character traits with Stinky Pete from Toy Story 2. They both seemed to be friendly and caring at first but were eventually revealed to be villains. This is mainly due to a sense of feeling rejected or unloved, which were seen in both. While in power as a head toy at Sunnyside, Lotso seemed to develop nihilistic tendencies, as evidenced by his statement that all toys were ultimately going to be tossed out like garbage, and there is no salvation for them. He showed no mercy to toys that resisted, opposed, helped other toys escape, and didn't follow his views, with examples being breaking Chatter Telephone, having Stretch push the toys into the dumpster, disowning Ken for not agreeing with Lotso's view that there were hundred million Barbie dolls like Molly's, and punching Big Baby with his mallet for being attached to their former owner again. Additionally, by destroying Big Baby's old pendant, Lotso showed that he not only wanted to forget his relation with Daisy and pretend it never even existed, but he also wanted to destroy all of Big Baby's ties to Daisy and essentially all toys' ties to their owners. At the landfill, despite seemingly showing thankful feelings toward Woody for saving him from the shredders, Lotso still held on to his beliefs that children would grow up to discard their toys out of boredom and disinterest without realizing the physical and emotional pain they are causing to the toy, as evidenced when he refused to push the emergency stop button and left Woody and his friends to burn alive in the incinerator.Evil All Along: He has a warm-looking personality, but is revealed to run the daycare center out of the other toys' fear, and later on, leaves Andy's toys for dead after they save his life at the dump. Fat Bastard: Being a plush teddy bear, Lotso has a round, chubby figure by design. He’s also a sadistic absurdist who regularly tortures and tries to kill his fellow toys. When new toys, such as the main group, arrive at the daycare, he leads them on a sweet tour of the Butterfly Room and how it has everything a toy could ever ask for. Then he places them in the Caterpillar Room, where they essentially become cannon fodder for the destructive toddlers.

However, they have their own issues and are not meant to be used alone. Garu is only able to tank for a little while without much direct damage, Kasli, D'arktanyan and Dark Mitama have blindspots that must be factored in, Shadow Gao's freeze has little uptime and won't stop the lions from pushing, while Iz doesn't have much range to begin with. Moment Killer: Lotso interrupts Barbie and Ken's Love at First Sight moment underscored by a Record Needle Scratch.
