Having compared it with other mini devices in the market, we found the current price point to be steep, making it likely the most expensive mini device out there. Yes, the mini 1 was small and compact, but calling it a true mini would’ve been an exaggeration. The mini 2 looks different. In terms of size, it measures 5.55 x 4.92 x 1.93 inches. Or 141mm x 125mm x 49mm. For comparison, mini 1 measured 6 x 5.3 x 2.25 inches. Or 152mm x 135 x 77mm. The Theragun mini just got smaller. It is easier to hold and operate.So does the new Theragun mini have enough juice? Yes, under normal usage, the battery should last you a few days. Is this the best battery performance among mini massage guns? No, it’s not. We believe Ekrin Bantam can give you twice the performance provided here. We like what we see. The Standard Ball Head: This one is the universal attachment. It can be the semi-soft one and can massage the entire body. The weight has been reduced by 25%, down from 1.45 pounds to 1.1 pounds. We did the measuring with the ball head attached. This is a significant reduction for a mini massage gun. It basically went from heavy to light in terms of weight category. Apart from sections for hardcore fitness addicts (like Workout Recovery and Studio Warm-Up), I was glad to see sections on Wellness, Ailments and Lifestyle with relevant routines. Selecting a routine tells you the total routine time, which body areas it’ll cover, and which attachment you need to use. Another reason the Go 2 doesn’t qualify as the best alternative is that the mini 2 is a revamped version of the mini 1. This mini 2 is clearly an upgrade of the older model.
