The Coastline in pitched flysheet first thanks to the external pole sleeve system. The flysheet is PU coated polyester with taped seams giving 2000mm hydrostatic head protection. The inner tent is made of breathable polyester with no-see-um mesh door and PE groundsheet base. The living/storage area features an upgraded detachable 'riser' groundsheet covering the entire. Buy the coleman darwin 2 plus tent now! I'd tossed up between midge hell and breezy in pitching the tent, but didn't contend with the severe billowing the tent displayed. My only gripe with this tent is that when set up on fairly level ground and everything tight the inner did sag down a few inches in the middle. Not sure if this is a common problem or just a one off. On the tent's second weekend away we went to the Brecon Beacons. Within minutes of pitching the outer it started to rain so we took shelter inside. As we were sitting there I noticed water dripping through the roof of the porch where the door zip was. I looked across to the other side and it was happening at the same point! After it stopped raining I went outside to see how it was getting in. It looked like it was coming through where the zip flap was stitched to the tent. You would have thought the seam would be taped!
