Tessa has always been the outcast at school because she has a gift but her peers perceive it as making her a freak. She decides that she will go as she doesn’t want to start her new life stuck in her room alone all the time.

About the author: USA Today best-selling author Aileen Erin is half-Irish, half-Mexican, and 100 percent nerd - from Star Wars (prequels don't count) to Star Trek ( TNG FTW).I get that teenagers have inconsistent emotions with regard to love/life, but it tends to wear a bit as you follow those rampant emotions throughout the course of a novel. but that's how the book is intended to be so not a complaint so much as a comment letting others know. There are some things in the story that you have to accept without much of any explanation such as Tessa’s connection with a strange boy named Dastien. The general plot is similar to others including the typical love interest, but once you get into the story and dig deep inside the web Aileen spun for the audience, there are so many details that set this novel apart.

Kinda recklessly stupid at times but you don't think you just act I got the audiobook yesterday n binged it. I am not even gonna bother with a review cause you know this story, the one constantly repeated in most YA books.The town she moved to is almost a mecca for supernaturals as well as humans but they keep a good distance from each other. Ailbe’s and her visions pinpoint an enemy in their midst, Tessa realizes that boy drama and her newfound canine tendencies might just be the least of her problems. I’ve often said, in the past (my twenties particularly), I’ve made some really terrible romantic choices and have been attracted to/pursued/flirted with the wrong sort of people – whether in actual relationships or flirtationships. Alibe’s are great people but there are a few that has it out for Tessa and will do whatever it takes to take her down or get her thrown out.

It was nice for once to see a supportive family around the MFC, as it’s often very different in these types of stories.It is filled with cat-fights, snarky bitchiness towards other girls, a girl who can't make up her fucking mind, and a douchenozzle of an alpha male (and Alpha wolf) of a love interest, who, runs hotter and colder than the fucking Katy Perry song (but at least with the song, I have the option of turning the station). I missed him already but I knew that he would probably move on and pick someone else as his best friend.

She and Dastien (the love interest) have the same taste in music and I loved the scenes where they test each other.

It's really fucking vague, because there's supposed to be a fucking point to her visions, and they just seem to be random-ass crap things. Tessa is honestly one of the main characters that I can actually get behind without completely losing all faith in her.
