The total daily dosage of Lipsore 5% should be based on the type or severity of infection and given in equally divided doses based on consideration of degree of susceptibility of the pathogens, renal function and body-weight. Lipsore Cream is used for the treatment of cold sores on the lips and face. It contains aciclovir, which belongs to a group of medicines called antivirals.
