Description

You might have a lot of books in your library, so you can tap the three line menu on the right, above the book list, to change the way the books are presented. You can change the sorting, for example, as well as view the books in grid or list form, or arranged by your collections, if you’ve organized them that way. Tap the Shift key to enter uppercase characters. Tap the Shift key twice to enter all-cap mode, and tap it once to exit the mode. Wi-Fi Networks: Use this option to connect to a Wi-Fi network, display a list of available networks, and view the name of the Wi-Fi network you are currently connected to, if any. Close the current book by tapping Home/Library, or search for content by tapping the magnifying glass

Go-to: Tap to go to the hierarchical list of sections and articles in a newspaper or magazine. This option is not available in blogs. First and foremost: the dictionary. Not sure what a word means? Tap and hold a word for a second, then release; after a moment you’ll see the word is underlined, then the dictionary opens to define the word. Swipe to the left to see the word’s Wikipedia entry and even get a translation.

All Settings: Tap to access settings that will enable you to further customize your Kindle experience. You can also access Settings by tapping the Menu icon, then selecting Settings. Books, magazines, and other materials are delivered directly to your Kindle via its built-in network connectivity. Your Kindle can connect to your home Wi-Fi network or to hotspots located around the world, including libraries, coffee shops, and airports. Please note that your Kindle does not support connecting to ad hoc (or peer-to-peer) Wi-Fi networks.

A single charge lasts up to six weeks, based on a half hour of reading per day with wireless off and the light setting at 10.
