To enter the competition, children should submit their creations, in the form of written words, drawn pictures, or written words and drawn pictures. Children can use the templates published in Beano on 7.06.2023, 14.06.2023 and 21.06.2023. Each week’s entries will be shortlisted, and the final shortlist will appear on beano.com/birthday on 26.07.2023. How to get out of homework, Dodger style!Many different traditions are associated with Easter. Yes, one of the most well-known of these traditions is the Easter egg, which represents new life and rebirth. It is said that the tradition of colouring eggs comes from an ancient belief that eggs were a symbol of new life. These should include a “Dandytown Scouts” strip drawn by Mychailo Kazybrid and inked by Bambos Georgiou. Mychailo created the design for these characters and the characters feature can see on the cover. There should also be a couple of strips starring the characters in the Dandy Annual this year. On July 30, Beano will celebrate its 85th birthday! It's the day when the very first issue of the Beano was released in the shops!
