Description

The fragrance opens on the sparkling, citrusy notes of bergamot, warmed by the spicy presence of cinnamon and nutmeg. Heart of the fragrance is the intense sweetness of dates that twists around the heady nuances of lily of the valley, the sensual ones of tuberose and the delicious notes of pralines. On the skin, the olfactory notes of toasted Tonka beans, vanilla, myrrh and amber wood will finally gently settle. Spicy Fragrances I found myself using Khamrah regularly on those days when I especially crave comfort and serenity, alternating it with two other fragrances of personal pleasure: Dolcelisir L'Erbolario and Eau Lente Diptyque, about whichsomeday I will certainly write, although this is not a new fragrance. So many times I've seen a "homme" fragrance's pyramid and thought "Ehm, make the bottle 'girly' and it could easily become popular on the women shelves. Sweet scents haven't been just for the ladies in a long time, and if you look at Middle Eastern perfumes, where the majority is unisex to begin with, you'll see that the guy-fums maybe have a little more (w)oudh or spice, but not always. I personally think when it comes to perfumes they have the right majority-idea: everything is for everybody. Which begs the question: is it really worth it? Sadly, quite often a hype is nothing more than every social media channel copying someone else to stay somewhat relevant. So, am I bravely fighting the label-posse for naught?

Yes, it has a big gourmand heart, but there are so many spices and resins in it that Khamrah cannot be called truly sweet. However, this is a separate big and painful topic, and now I want to explain how it happened that I undertook a review of a perfume that outwardly imitates the design of Angels' Share, and even a pyramid that seems to be trying to reach my favorite By Kilian fragrance. Sladunjav parfem, sa veoma bogatom aromom karamele, cokolade, ali i konjaka, veoma dugostrajne postojanosti na tijelu kada se naspreja i veoma primaljivog mirisa! Yes, this is a sweet perfume for lovers of sweet perfumes, however, Khamrah does not tyrannize with its sweetness, it remains affectionate and sweet, sophisticated and gentle. My favorite tipsy angel with cognac-soaked wings, Angels' Share enjoys hot tea with cinnamon and candied fruit cake, readily breathes in the scent of cognac-aged oak barrels, warms up by the fireplace, squinting at the light of candles, and tells fairytales... The angel tells all these tales to adults because there is no need for drunk people to talk to children, and adults also sometimes want fairy tales. But Angels' Share immediately goes to an alcoholic side – cognac in all its forms, and its sweetness is completely European in spirit and taste.

Takodje ovaj parfem po meni nije preporucljiv u koriscenju za sporta, niti za mladje skolarce, vec za izlazak navece ili poslovne sastanke . That base leans heavily on vanilla and the three woods; Mahogany from the heart, and Akigala + Amber woods on the bottom tier. Here and there the benzoin and myrrhe give it extra depth and warmth. I've often heard describe Khamrah as “boozy”, but I'm not getting any of that. Just like the apple pie has never entered my olfactory senses when wearing this chique Lattafa. Khamrah doesn't make as much of a statement as most Arabian perfumes, but it's impossible to miss. And, of course, it is very strong and long lasting. Like many of us, I don't like the idea of copying fragrances. Or rather, attempts to copy because really good copies do not exist. No imitation of a popular fragrance, whether it be Lost Cherry Tom Ford (which I think is the record holder for the number of imitations and fakes)or Angels' Share By Kilian, or La Vie Est Belle Lancôme, will smell as good as the original. It just won't smell the same. There can be no replacement and the quest to find a cheaper dupe is meaningless.

Vanilla appears, bitter and strict, and then bitter-powdery tonka beans and salty-sweet myrrh follow. I would say that this perfume lasts so long on me, there has been times where I would be exercising after a long day and the perfume would still linger on my skin. It performs really well for me in warmer temperatures. The top accord of Khamrah Perfume is the citrusy freshness of bergamot framed by the warm, velvety spice of cinnamon and refined clary sage. The heart of the perfume resonates with the delightful creamy smell of praline, melting in a fragrant haze of sweet fruity notes and tuberose floral nuances. At the same time, the base of Lattafa Khamrah delivers a sumptuous aromatic trail that blends the sensual sweetness of vanilla with spicy precious woods, sweet, smoky oud, smoky aromatic myrrh, spicy tonka bean and vanilla resinous benzoin, shimmering softly in the beams. Refined amber. Why are you wearing a men's perfume? I'm asked that too often. Let's just get that nasty question out of the way first, shall we?
