The use of ammonia as a curing agent actively converts the monomers within the fabric into polymers. The application of Proban® as a textile finish is a quality controlled and state of the art technological process that gives cotton-rich woven and knitted textiles fire retardant properties. These properties are durable and therefore are perfect for applications where repeated use is essential.The other characteristic of Nomex is its inherent electric resistance: this coverall achieves Arc Thermal Performance Value of 23, which is remarkable considering the average Nomex coveralls have an ATPV of just 5. Concealed heavy duty plastic two-way front zip to collar with heavy duty plastic press studs to provide additional protection against electric arc incidents. Wearwell will cover the return postal cost if the item intended to be returned is as a result of an error on our behalf (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Logically, FR overalls are essential when you work with with a risk of fire, such as near oil and gas or welding equipment. ie in environments where fires are a threat, or around flammable chemicals. FR overalls give you an additional layer of fire-resistant protection between you and the sparks, flashes and flames. The Proban® treated fabrics we produce are able to maintain their strength, colour and flame retardant properties over time, even when exposed to UV light, which makes our textiles suited to both indoor and outdoor work environments. Do you only need FR protection? ie Do you also need anti static protection (EN1149) and/or IEC 61428 Electric arc protection? What temperature is your work area? ie Do you need a thermal quilted 350gm FR overall or a just a normal 350gm FR overall or a lightweight/temperate FR overall (250gm) or a tropical FR overall eg 150gm Nomex?
