Look at my little brother. All grown up and bein’ a man, learnin’ how to take care of his own farm.” Yun Ren wiped an imaginary tear from his eye, Gou Ren snorted in response. Next is a Carnivine, which debuted in the Chapter "the Maiden of the Mist" this volume. These massive Spirit Plants are native to whats known as the Deep Fenns, an area of the Misty Lake that his pervaded by a poisonous fog. Most of the time, they're about the size of a man, and can actually be fought off by mortals. But Given enough food, these Spirit Plants can grow to the size of palaces—an ecological disaster in the making.

It’ll be a short lesson,” Yun Ren snarked. His brother reached over and punched him in the shoulder, Yun Ren laughing it off. Because while an adventure was all well and good, it was sharing that adventure with one’s family that truly made the difference. Well… that was kind of easy, wasn’t it?” Yun Ren asked his brother as they stared at the corpse of the deer. The plot, while being a fun twist on the genre, was not very interesting to me. There was barely any action, barely any drama, and the characters weren't interesting. Being a comedy and little else, it all came down to the humor. How are you even still reading my review ? If you have time to read this mess, you have time to read something way better, and way more enjoyable, without weird sentences. As with Battle Mage Domestication by Seth Ring, Jin goes about farming differently. It's never explained how new Jin because a much more powerful cultivator than the original Jin, but it's apparent through his actions that he is. He buys a plot of land in a qi starved area at the edge of the empire and sets up shop. It was a crippled, broken thing. Torn open and sundered in ages past. It slept fitfully, and it hurt. But all in all the slow pace had proved fruitful. Their travels and time together had strengthened the bonds in their nascent fellowship. Working tougher, cooking, and swapping stories around their campfire had fast become one of the most anticipated parts of the day.

litRPG (which this novel is not, and I have yet to try properly, that's what the KU free trial is for) Style- 4.5 Strong voice. This, I think is what makes this story work. It's effective and has the occasional beautiful phrase. The most important part is that the characters feel SO distinct. Even without being told, I know in a few sentences whose POV I'm in. And each POV has its own type of themes and humor. Really well done. I think if CasualFarmer spent more time personally editing that it could be even cleaner and stronger which is why I left off hald a star. Yun Ren had taken to sparring a bit with Tigu, after the whole debacle at the Dueling Peaks. The girl was actually a fairly good teacher— and then Xiulan, Bi De, and Jin had all joined in. Well, Jin had a good idea, you know? To record memories. I thought I’d get one to do the same,” Gou Ren clarified.Language can be coarse. Some scenes not suitable for younger readers, but this doesn’t veer into harem and explicit sex. I like to listen to audiobooks when I walk my dog and splurged with a credit. (I'd already been pleasantly surprised by forge of destiny)

it has a good but gentle pacing, don`t expekt action around evry corner but it`s still there. extremly livlike well writen personalitys and a lot of perspectiv switching, normaly it would at least somewhat annoy me but it`s done in such a natural way that it`s simmply quite intriguing whats going on in the respective people. There are very divverent perspectives that intermingle interestingly. Not many details are known about Rou Jin’s life before transmigrating, which he refers to as the Before, beyond the facts that he was originally from Canada, he had a good relationship with his family and he has had experience working in a farm. Remembering his old life causes him such discomfort that he prefers to avoid thinking about it altogether. Hopefully everybody on the road was eating alright—ah, man. I’ve been a dad for only a few months, damn it! I should be encouraging them to eat junk food or something! It was called the Stone Gate. An impressive, foreboding sight, with the roaring crash of the thundering rapids occasionally defeated by the wind screaming through the Howling Fang Mountains, an interplay that produced a haunting melody.

On one side was the slate grey of towering mountains resembling the teeth of a giant wolf. They speared into the sky, brutal and stark, taking a bite out of the heavens. On the other, a massive slab of yellow-tinted stone rose half a Li before turning at a ninety degree angle, the edges of the plateau forming an unscalable barrier. Elder Xian taught me how to make this one,” Yun Ren said to the blade as he flexed his Qi, warming up the misty feeling in his gut until it felt like the sun’s rays. The sword rattled in approval. Similarly, sometimes the pacing struggles a bit. Again, it's a rare thing and doesn't detract from the reading. And so their cycle continued. Breathe together. Sleep together. Work together. Bit by bit, the wound closed. Bit by bit, more and more old pieces gathered towards the healing wound.Ah, you dare?! Kowtow a hundred times and piss on your father’s grave! Maybe then I’ll forgive you!” Another voice growled from inside the shop.
