I have been collecting these 2 CD DVDs from Pablo Honey up to Hail to the Thief and yet more beautiful music from Yorke and the gang has been produced, my only dissapointment was in the DVD which was a little lacking in body, especially when you compare it with The Bends, the bonus material almost double the content of the main disc, with tons live vids and alternate takes on the DVD, yet hail to the thief only had about 15 mins of content. That ish was unlistenable; sounded like it had been dubbed over to a blank cassette, then pressed to uneven vinyl with rough edges and off-center stickers. Like all Radiohead albums, it's a slow grower, a densely packed collection of rapidly mutating sounds and surfaces that takes a while to comprehend.

I think (I hope) most Radiohead fans like to play albums from beginning to end in one - touted as a companion piece to OK Computer this album has highs and lows but throughout maintains the bands emotional and eclectic sound whilst immersing the listener in a deep well of transcendental alt.
