She is extremely manipulative as seen where she manipulates Machiya to betray and kill Sanagi Oushima (The film club director and Machiya's first love). Extreme Doormat: His bonding with Mashiro is making Machiya come out of his shell though, in a dark way.Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After going through one DEAD Tube event, she chooses to move faaaar away, not wanting to continue associating with the psychos she had to rely on to survive the storyline. She even admits to Shinkai that she thinks they're crazy for staying.

Big Bad: The creator of DEAD Tube and had a large hand in orchestrating everything that happened to the protagonists. He even admits to raising his daughter just so he could have her murdered in a video.

Lovable Alpha Bitch: Ironically, when compared to other characters she ends up being one of the “cleanest” around; she is disturbed by the true nature of DEAD Tube and generally comes off as one of the nicest (i.e. least amoral) characters in the series. The characters are cliche, plain and uninteresting to see. You get your MC, boring, has no meaning in life and just stays there for plot convenience, then you have SC, who is a crazy yandere bitch that will do anything for money and fame (or just outright crazy). Any other character introduced will just make you annoyed to the point you're asking yourself 'when will they die?' and if that thought ever arose from my mind, I would drop the series completely. You don't really feel for the characters but rather to just pitch a tent or unleash the water gates. Simply put, Dead Tubeis a manga series about people who film things, put the videos on Youtube DeadTube, and compete to see who gets the most views. And our hopeless main character, who is a high school student but also an expert cameraman, gets roped into participating. And through his eyes and camera, we get to see the utterly depraved shit people in this story will do to get more views. Sorting Algorithm of Mortality: Young, naive, materialistic and caught seducing Machiya by Mashiro Mai, she tripped all the flags for a particularly nasty death. Surprisingly averted as she has kept her head for now.
