Many centrifugal juicers employ motors of 900 to 1000 watts to power 10,000 to 14,000 RPM. Surely a 700-watt motor trying power 18,000 RPM does not make much sense? I worry that this motor will overheat and break down with continuous or regular usage. Swallow It Whole In the box, we get the motor base (main body of the machine), food pusher, juicer cover (with feed chute), stainless steel mesh strainer, juice container and pulp container. The feed chute that the fruit or veg goes into is a useful 75mm, which means we didn't often have to chop veg into smaller pieces for them to fit. Even whole tomatoes and carrots fit easily. There are pads to stop movement while juicing. The removable parts are dishwasher safe to make cleaning easy and safe. Is There Foam? I find it very unfortunate that the list of consumer complaints for this product is so long. I did, however, expect the list to be rather long. As you can see from what I have written in this review, I did not have high hopes for this juicer on the basis of its low-power motor and its high-speed settings. The large chute makes putting the fruit into the juicer faster. (Although larger stones need to be removed.)In spite of the powerful motor and fast cutting speeds the Vonshef whole fruit juicer is relatively quiet and a lot less noisy than other juicers you can buy. What is the Size of the Machine? Just as good and faster than my much more expensive previous juicer. One small criticism though; the hard plastic is a bit sharp and requires care when cleaning. I love the extra thought in supplying a very good size jug, cleaning brush and drip cap. Excellent and very happy with it. Operating the juicer is very simple, with the food being placed into the chute and pushed down into the spinning blades within the device. The juicer doesn't seem to make as much juice as rivals, needing four oranges to produce a glass of orange juice - but you get what you pay for. We also found that some of the juice that the VonShef machine produced was a bit pulpy. Some people won't mind that but we prefer smooth juice. To each their own, eh?

While you don't get the reputable brand name of a juicer from a manufacturer like Breville, you do get a relatively compact juicer that does the job it's intended to. Did the build quality and performance blow us away? No. But if we had some spare cash to spend on a juicer, we'd consider this one. The juicer has very sharp blades made from stainless steel to cut up the fruit and vegetables. Large seeds must be removed. Juice Collection At times it can be hard to juice certain vegetables. Leafy greens, because of their tight fibers, do not break down as easilyI quite simply cannot, in good conscience, recommend this juicer. I understand that it is priced fairly well and that it features a wonderfully large pulp collection cup, but the truth is that it is unlikely to perform the tasks you hope it will perform. If it does manage to perform those tasks, chances are that it will not be able to perform them for very long without breaking down or breaking apart.
