Como tal es un libro de hechizos que habla un poco sobre las protagonistas, sus reglas, su árbol genealógico, amuletos, vestuario, su aquelarre y demásdatos curiosos sobre las brujas que practican la magia negra. Don’t be frightened; remember “…it’s just a bunch of hocus pocus!” Me gusta el formato en el que trabajaron la estética del libro, las hojas tienen un acabado viejo y desgastado, las ilustraciones y tipografía son dignas de un auténtico libro de las sombras al estilo de las hechiceras (serie que amo con todo el corazón) con la única diferencia que en este libro se ven másmaleficios y conjuros malignos así como menjurjes diseñados para perjudicar al prójimo (y como no si las protagonistas solo desean robarle la vitalidad a los niños para hacerse másjóvenes, típico cliche, lo sé) Este tipo de libros me gusta bastante porque siempre encuentro datos interesantes y muy originales sobre objetos mágicos, hechizos, maleficios o encantamientos que sin duda son de utilidad para mi investigación sobre la magia, lo paranormal y lo místico, además de que siempre encuentro datos sobre criaturas fantásticas que no conocía, que no hay en otros libros o bien criaturas que ya concia, pero con datos diferentes a los que ya tenía. Why not give this job to an actual fan who would of been paid in peanuts to do this job properly and not write so many inaccuracies that it seems like fanfiction. God awful, painful rhyming. Some rhymes work beautifully is my reason for the second star in my review but sometimes the rhymes are incredibly dreadful. If you are ever to do anything in rhyme or meter please use a rhyming dictionary and if it doesn't work change the sentences. Lo que no me agrada del todo son los rayones y comentarios escritos por las brujas protagonistas de la película HocuPocus (que de por si me caen mal) y la verdad el tener que leer sus diálogos absurdos y sin sentido (completamente innecesarios) me causan un poco de molestia y a mi punto de vista vuelven un poco lento el ritmo de lectura. Why is the cover so bland and nothing at all reminiscent of the actual book in the film? If it wasn't for the Disney logo I would think it was to do with an off brand, fan made, unofficial book to do with the franchise. (That being said a fan made version would of been better)There is also on the family tree another scrawled out face with the name of E. Podbury. This is the name of the fourth Sanderson sisters from 2018 sequel book. Why? Just why? Please let this not be a implication and reflection of the upcoming film.

Or they are not allowed to make the cover with the eye due to reasons unknown perhaps they are going to make a book with the eye in the future. And if that is so then why is it filled with inaccuracies? The spells from the film are completely different to those in this book. Why? I don't understand.
