If you want a exclusive elegance and really good performance (last easy more than 10h on my skin) this fragrance do the job. I was given a test strip of this on a whim in Neiman Marcus, and didn't think much of the opening, other than a fresh oud was new to me, and that surprised me. But BOY does this develop into the sexiest blend of fresh woody spiciness! I could stop smelling the tester for DAYS! It smells the exact same on skin, thankfully! Oud and citruses/bergamot is a common trope when it comes to brands wanting to put out an oud-scent that's fresh. So when you smell this, parts of it will be familiar to you - but it has an added layer of complexity that makes it slightly different - hard to describe or to pinpoint what note is causing this - but it's like they added a fuzzy, slightly soapy (like Dove soap, not a blue shower gel) aspect that makes this really addictive especially as it dries down.

One thing I will say is that Acqua di Parma recently changed the bottling of this fragrance and also marked it as edp. No changes to strength have been made to this fragrance. They apparently just decided to mark it as edp 🤷♂️.Honestly this is in this the same class of Oud fragrances as Tom Ford, Gucci, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana those designer Ouds. But this is the best of them. Passion, love, tenderness and joy - all emotions that are awoken by the unequalled femininity and beauty of the centifolia rose. Not too heavy. I’m wearing it on one of the hotter days you get in the UK and it works. Perhaps not in really hot or humid conditions but it’s definitely suitable for Northern European type weather for winter, spring, autumn and probably most of summer.

Gentle, slightly leathery and finely rounded oud meets a juicy orange! This is an oud fragrance that can easily be worn in summer. I'm not sure when I would wear this as I'm much more of a citrus freshie and barbershop fougere guy, but if I was ever gonna get an oud, this would be it. Jo Malone's Oud would be in the ballpark as well given it's also a smooth oud. Very nice and considering a bottle.I love this fragrance, the opening is amazing i've trying to find another fragrance with the same opening to use on hot weather, as this one is not suitable, once the oud starts poping. I have adp colonia futura wich has a great opening as well, but not the same.

It is amplified even more in the aromatic heart of the fragrance where lavender and hints of rose harmoniously intertwine with aromatic rosemary. Warm and precious woody notes of vetiver, sandalwood, and patchouli round off the base of this iconic Eau de Cologne. The citrus lingers for a moment and then dissipates leaving a faint scent and the oud, leather, spices and resins take over. It starts with the orange and bergamot right in the beginning, both of which stay through the mid on me. Then the Oud takes over with a bit of the sandalwood playing through it here and there. I have a decant of the leather, and I must say I don’t get much leather in this one.Some elements of it reminds me of other creations I smelled before. The ones that proposed ELDO's Tom of Finland and Moschino's Toy Boy might be onto something, but it certainly isn't all there is to this fragrance as far as references. This niche house is one of my personal favorites in the entire world of perfumery. Acqua di Parma is a luxurious Italian niche house, that presents glorious Italian style of perfumery in its finest. These creations seem to share a particular signature accord in perfume construction that brings lightness, smoothness and beautiful citrus facets in their olfactive profile. I really respect perfumers of Acqua di Parma, I really have no idea how they do that, but the way they build the perfume is just phenomenal. Italians know, how to work with citruses, here in Acqua di Parma they do it fabulously. I believe that citruses and their brilliant musk accords are the key of their works.
