Grab three microwave safe bowls. Put the milk chocolate in one and divide the white chocolate between the other two. Melt in the microwave (in 30 second bursts) or over a bain-marie. I don’t know about you, but as much as I adore Christmas themed baking, Easter themed baking is just so damn pretty. Pastel colours and all the different chocolates are just the BEST. Just LOOK at these cupcakes! They are so pretty, and I am honestly just obsessed. Cupcakes Yes, there are a few different soft centre Easter treats that will work just as well as Creme Eggs, so go ahead and give different ones a go. How about Galaxy Caramel Mini Eggs, for example? if you use a food processor or blender, nothing simpler - add all the ingredients and blitz until smooth - it's ready in a couple of minutesI decided that with this cake I would use a vanilla recipe for the actual cake as I wanted it to be something that most people would love. I went along with it and made the frosting vanilla as well, but I think the lighter colour of the frosting makes it very ‘Easter-y’ and the contrast with the dark chocolate ganache is amazing! There is nothing in these Cadbury Creme Egg cakes that would generally pose a risk to a pregnant woman. When the weather finally starts to warm up and spring is in the air, it's the perfect time to make some yummy springtime goodies! This Cadbury mini eggs cake recipe is so buttery and fluffy, and full of those yummy Cadbury mini eggs we all love! To hold everything together I made a simple almond buttercream that is perfect for frosting the cake as well as the piping decorations seen. My little secret ingredient for this butter cream was a few teaspoons of almond extract. I usually use vanilla but I think the almond really helped cut the ‘sweetness’ that this cake exudes. To make these decorations (I promise they’re simple) grab yourself a piping bag and star tip. You can really use any size for this piping technique or even a few different ones with different pastel colors. These sort of cakes can be utterly mind boggling to some people, and I can get that. The next day, you could then finish whipping up the frosting and decorating, ready to enjoy. Can I make Cadbury Creme Egg cakes in a different quantity? There are obviously other ways as well, but that’s how I’ve made them!
