In the same way that DALI has not messed with the design fundamentals of the Katch G2, they’ve left the sound pretty much as it was too. As this very definitely didn’t need tweaking, this is unquestionably a good thing. The DALI does a few things that cumulatively add up to something rather impressive. The first is that there is an improbable amount of low end from that slim cabinet. It’s not the sort of ‘too much power for the chassis’ bass either. The DALI delivers the crunching low end of Vox Low’s Something is Wrong with an agility and lightness of touch that works beautifully.

It's at the pricey end of the market, yes, but the Dali Katch is a stone cold stunner, delivering excellent clarity, impressive bass weight and good looks in spades – so much so that we handed it a What Hi-Fi? Award in 2021 and 2022. If you've got the money, we'd struggle to recommend anything else at the same price. To return your product, you should mail your product to:Expressive Audio,Manor Farm Yard, Highgate Lane, Moorby, Boston, PE22 7PN If all you have to say on the subject of a tiny portable speaker is that it contains some leather on a forum thats set up for reviewing sound and the overall quality of an item then I'm afraid your opinion isn't worth noting. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

It boasts similar dimensions to a large floury bap, but that's where any comparisons with baked goods end. The new A1 supports Qualcomm’s latest aptX AdaptiveBluetooth 5.1 codec, and of course, Alexa is built-in. Set-up is a painless process whether you choose a Bluetooth or wi-fi connection. When setting up a multi-room system, the app searches for other Audio Pro speakers in the vicinity on the same network, and you can then drag-and-drop from here to group or separate speakers, either in stereo pairs or multi-room zones, or else make manual adjustments to bass and treble. I have listened to Elvis Costello since My Aim is Trueon speakers and systems, great and small. Elvis Costello sounded like Elvis Costello on the Cleer Scene but came across with a deeper, richer tone than he owns on the Dali Katch G2, even in clear mode. I don’t want my speakers to interpret my artists, (which I know they all do to an extent), but the Cleer Scene produced the Elvis Costello I want to listen to. Winner:Cleer Scene. Features The design is a bit odd—the unique, narrow build makes it look like it's supposed to sit flat and fire audio upward, but that's not the case. Instead, the stylish speaker stands upright on four rubber feet. Our comparison speaker for testing is the five-star JBL Xtreme 3, but in direct comparison the JBL feels just a tad over-emphasised through the bass and just slightly muddier through the low end as a result. It’s a small difference, but still noteworthy. VerdictIn any case, each panel receives 25W from class-D amplifiers, and together they deliver a frequency range of 49Hz to 23 kHz. The speaker connects via Bluetooth 5.0 and supports the AAC, AptX, AptX HD, and SBC codecs, a strong array of support. Form a wireless dedicated left/right stereo pair using Bluetooth™ between the units and as the source input using two DALI KATCH G2 units. The connection uses one DALI KATCH G2 as the primary and the other DALI KATCH G2 as a secondary unit. The true wireless stereo mode has several advantages: Besides adding true stereo imaging, the extra drivers working together will deliver a significantly higher undistorted sound pressure and even improve the bass quality and extension. However, if you've got a big, spacious room that you want to fill with sound at decent volumes, a bigger speaker with a higher watt output will likely serve you best. Výdrž baterie KATCH G2 byla prodloužena o neuvěřitelných 25 %, takže si můžete hudbu užívat až 30 hodin bez opětovného nabíjení. The Addon C3 is basically the wi-fi-enabled, multi-room version of Audio Pro's Addon T3. It has the same minimalist looks that the Scandinavian company is known for, complete with textured surfaces and an embossed leather carry handle, but the wireless tech adds a whole new dimension to your listening. Expressive Audio exists to help you get as close as possible to the experience of live entertainment, from the comfort of your own home. For a true stereo sound, connect two Katches together, wirelessly. This is ideal for larger rooms, parties or simply for enjoying the music as it was originally intended – in spacious stereo sound. Designing a bass mid-range woofer with a long excursion in a shallow cabinet sounds like a contradiction in terms. Nonetheless, this was the task of the acoustics team. Using an unconventionally designed chassis, inverted membrane and special spider suspension, we managed to get the same maximum excursion as a similar-sized traditional woofer. The aluminum body of the compact and portable DALI KATCH G2 has enough inner volume for its dual woofers to deliver a considerable amount of low-end punch. The sound from the DALI KATCH G2 is rendered by a 2-Way stereo speaker system with a larger passive membrane supporting the woofer in the otherwise closed cabinet. In contrast to the original KATCH, the DALI KATCH G2 cabinet now has an internal wall dividing it into two inner volumes, creating improved channel separation. Given that the Flip 5 is a past What Hi-Fi? Award winner, it will come as little surprise to learn that the Flip 6 is another resoundingly five-star product. We might have thought we’d be advising JBL to rework the Flip by now – add a few more features, change it up a bit to keep up with the competition – but instead, we are left praising the sonic chops of a proposition that offers extra durability (it is now IP67 water- and dust-proof, over the waterproof-only IPX7 Flip 5) as well as an extra ounce of space within its trademark zealous and musical presentation.Yes, it's still 'just' a Bluetooth speaker – but what a great-sounding Bluetooth speaker it is. I have 2 of them now in our kitchen and the sound quality is really good. It’s not a huge room (16 x 14 x 9) but they fill the space rather well and the cream/bronze finish looks very modern and clean.

Once you've narrowed down your search, it's time to draw up a shortlist of contenders. There should be something for everyone here... FAQ What's the difference between wireless and Bluetooth speakers? When choosing a Bluetooth speaker, the first thing you should ask yourself after setting a budget is what you want from it. Does the speaker need to be portable and versatile enough to use both indoors and outdoors? Or are you happy with a mains-powered speaker that can fill a big room with brilliant audio? DALI, Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries, was created in 1983 to meet the demands of Scandinavia's leading audio retail chain's customers, who were asking for loudspeakers that existing brands couldn't offer. DALI loudspeakers would offer outstanding performance and natural sound at competitive prices. Connect with traditional Bluetooth or NFC. The built-in Bluetooth 5.0 receiver will accept apt-X, apt-X HD and AAC connections if the source device is capable.

Bang & Olufsen isn’t noted for following the herd. In the Danish electronics specialist’s catalogue you'll find a wheel-shaped wireless speaker, a TV that opens up like a butterfly, and an 8200-watt monolithic speaker comprising 18 drivers. Its output could reasonably be described as "innovative" – and the B&O Beosound A1 (2nd Gen) wireless speaker is no exception. Bass mid-range woofer with the same maximum excursion as a similar-sized traditional woofer. The woofer membrane is a relatively large 3.5”. Every extra millimetre gained in internal depth is turned into true low-frequency reproduction, letting the woofer generate bass with only slight help from the DSP. The outward turned cone is constructed from an aluminium membrane with a soft fabric dust cap. The stiff aluminium cone allows the woofer to move as much air a possible even at mid-range frequencies, and the combination of aluminium and fabric works to lower surface resonances, retaining detail and clarity.
