According to the manufacturer, it is easy to install and can be attached to the frame of your moped or scooter in just a few minutes. The Max Rack has a wider mounting stance, is compatible with a wide range of bike frame sizes, and is easy to install. The rack is simple to install and because it's constructed in sections can be taken to pieces for quick and easy storage when not in use.

This rack should work for most shortboards as well, but it’s worth measuring beforehand just in case, especially if you’re mounting the rear arm to a rear-rack, or plan on riding around Venice Beach with the breeze in your long hair and a stubby little fish by your side. Under the Consumer Rights Act you have an early right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund. Not to mention that it may interfere with a rear bike rack, which I highly recommend for any kind of bike commuting.

I’ve heard of some people biking with one hand and carrying a short surfboard with the other, but this is clearly only sustainable for easy rides and isn’t nearly as fun (or safe)! The Northcore "Lowrider" universal fit bicycle surfboard carry rack, has a powder coated alloy frame which fits to any standard seat stem avoiding scratching to bike paint work. Finally, there are also surfboard trailers equipped with wheels, which allow you to carry your surfboard and extra gear on an independent, rear-mounted vehicle. Once installed, super easy to load and hold my various coveted longboards safe and secure on the rough and bumpy roads here in Costa Rica.
