Using a PWM voltage regulator, we reduced the speed of the fans manually down to half their rated speed.

I have the H150i Elite Capellix with the included fans and Commander Core, 3 QL 140 fans for the case, 2 QL 120 fans currently on the way also for case, a Commander Pro, and 4 sticks of 8GB ARGB Vengeance Pro ram. One of the main differences is the H150i Pro RGB limited the ML120 fans to a maximum speed of 1600 RPM. On the H150i Pro RGB, they were limited to a maximum of 1600 RPM since it was built towards silence. iCue recognizes the commander core, but once you plug in the AIO, it becomes the H150i and the core disappears. I did firmware updates for everything in iCUE, and got a pump failure warning followed by all lights going out and the H150i fans stopped spinning. Also check in Nvidia's control panel 3D settings, that power settings is set to Normal, and not max performance.

Game integration is a key reason for me going all Corsair, so hoping there will be more of it, along with updates to old profiles and SDK integration . Reading the internet, is seems like the profiles (or SDK) are not aware of the very latest products (eg QL fans, H150i Elite). If you are going heavy into the world of RGB and aren't prepared to tweak, expect to see a lot of disappointments like this.

With the powerful fans of the H150i Elite Capellix, this results to a sound pressure level of 43 dB(A), a relatively high figure for a CPU cooler. The pre-installed pump cap is a stylish, glossy black, while the alternate pump cap is more transparent to let your CAPELLIX LEDs shine through. The top of the H150i Capellix features only the Corsair logo as part of a clear top with opaque backing. However, before considering a move, it might be good to figure out if things are cooler over there or abnormally warm up top.

This seems like too much to be a airflow issue, but take of the large side glass off at idle and see what happens. I know the 3000 series have some idle power issues right now, but that still seems a bit much for me. That lets the heat go up and out the top and passive back venting -- directly away from the radiator that is now a little more protected from GPU heat in the rear chamber.

But let’s face it, designing a cooler that doesn’t encroach on the competition’s style, yet is still decisively a Corsair product, is a challenge, and there are limited things you can do with a waterblock.
