From an internal perspective, consistency and clarity help create a psychologically safe environment in which colleagues can be open, contribute fully, and flourish. The consistent performance of daily actions contributes to this – the more people do something, the easier it becomes, productivity increases, and job satisfaction grows. There is also a clear link between consistency and accountability. Individuals are more likely to take responsibility for delivery if they are practiced in performing the work and task at hand. Excellence is high quality and a virtue to be pursued. The pursuit of perfection is frustrating, neurotic and a terrible waste of time. Procrastination

It was particularly interesting reading officers initially didn’t like the idea of a Staff Academy as they believed all the training one officer would need can be learned through the Regiment!
