Mauritius is a green and fertile oasis in the heart of the vast Indian Ocean – a melting pot of eastern and western cultural fusion. Since its discovery 500 years ago, global explorers and travellers have sought to be refreshed, revitalised and replenished here. Today, Mauritius is famed for being the ultimate destination for royals, celebrities, honeymooners and lovers, all demanding just one elusive quality – the authentic Paradise experience. While Four Peaks might have been bought by Anheuser-Busch in 2015, the brewery is still considered to be the hometown hero when it comes to crafting a phenomenal beer. The best before date is '27-02-02' which would lead me to believethis was bottled in 2001, so was this the last run of Phoenix? Quite likely - it is a pity it didn'tquite reach its 50th anniversary... Summary: Drinkable in the same way a tin of regular Carlsberg is, ie absolutely nothing special. Plus coy about the ingredients which doesn't engender confidence. Not one I'd buy again.

We have a list of every beer we’ve tried this year– we’ve already crossed 650 beers for the year, so see what we’ve had and what we recommend! The owners of Wren House Brewing Company believe in the power of craft beer to gather people together. Their taproom reflects this as they offer a simple space with music (however no TV) so that you can gather with friends or meet a new neighbour over a beer. In addition to making quality craft beverages, SanTan also showcases two popular neighbourhood brewpubs which are located in Historic Downtown Chandler and Uptown Phoenix. What Does OHSO Stand For? Four Peaks, named after the iconic mountaintops in the northeast area of Greater Phoenix, is the state's most well-known brewer, thanks to their classic Kilt Lifter Scottish Ale, which has been around since 1996 and is known as the No. 1 beer in Arizona. The main brewery in Tempe has been a classic meetup spot for Arizona State University students, spring training fans, locals and visitors alike for more than 20 years (Four Peaks has become such a mainstay in the area that one of Tempe's biggest events is the annual Four Peaks Oktoberfest at Tempe Beach Park). You'll find the beers anywhere in the state, and even across the country too, since the brewery was acquired by Anheuser-Busch in 2015. You can enjoy thebrews and bites in Scottsdale or before your flight at Sky Harbor as well.
