In the Legends World, Fire Convoy was a fictional character in a franchise of toys and media. Affected by Tankor's '80s Transformation Beam, a TV began airing adult-rated content at prime time as was acceptable in the '80s, including a scene of Fire Convoy creeping on a bathing T-AI. Bonus Edition Vol. 3 When Sky-Byte, still on Earth in the 2004 of the G1 World, was sent to the Legends World, he was perplexed to find that the Transformers were fictional. When Rattrap explained to him about characters like Optimus Prime, Sky-Byte found through research that "Optimus Prime" was the English name of his hated enemy, Fire Convoy. Thus, he sought to ruin Fire Convoy's reputation in this world... by dressing up as Age of Extinction Optimus Prime. The plan didn't work out, as Sky-Byte was unable to bring himself to crush young fans' dreams. Bonus Edition Vol. 6 In 2007, after a year-long anti-Transformer campaign by the Earth Defense Command, the Kiss Players singing group went on a tour to help improve human-Transformer relations. It was while they were visiting Brave Maximus—now apparently separated from Autobot City again—for a performance that the mysterious Sparkbots suddenly appeared and demanded that the human group members kiss them. When they complied, they and Maximus were all whisked away on a whirlwind tour of time and space, with Maximus serving as their transport and base as they collected fragments of the so-called " Allspark" from famous Autobot and Maximal leaders through Transformer history. Sparkbots Volume 1 Notably, he did not demonstrate any signs of intelligence or independence during the journey. Sparkbots Volume 2 Sparkbots Volume 3 The original Takara Car Robots release differs from the Hasbro version in that it has a darker, metallic-flake plastic, gold chrome eyes for both modes and has no Autobot symbols tampo-printed on the shoulder pads. Obviously, the voice clips used for the Japanese toy are also different, although the English clips are essentially translations of the Japanese ones (with the Hasbro toy proclaiming that Optimus Prime's transformation into super mode uses the code-phrase " maximize"). Furthermore, Fire Convoy's missiles are of a different mold on the Japanese toy. The toy’s ladder features a trigger that flips all four of his missile launchers forward into firing position when pressed. On Fire Convoy, pressing this trigger causes all four missiles to immediately launch (if by "launch" you mean "be-flung-up-into-the-air-and-fall-to-the-ground-instantly") when they flip forward, whereas the Hasbro toy removes the auto-fire feature, allowing them to be launched one-at-a-time via individual triggers. Unchanged from the Takara release, the tires feature the name "FIRE CONVOY" instead of "OPTIMUS PRIME". The Hasbro release also filled in the lowest row of holes on the sides of the ladder's lower section, which are also attached to the wrong sides. This misassembly is present on all Hasbro releases of the mold, as well as the Encore release. As well, the toy has the unfortunate tendency for its rubber tires to split down its molding connection.

Fortress Maximus later attended a farewell party for the decommissioned Lost Light in Swerve's bar, where he apologized to the Scavengers for attempting to kill them. Misfire couldn't help but admire his leg guns. How To Say Goodbye And Mean It: Part 2 No instructions show this, but in a bizarre case of convergent engineering, Grandus in transport mode can combine with Metroplex in transport mode via the pegs on the former's shoulders, and the fist holes on the latter. Jizai Gattai indeed. Players control one of the Autobot Headmasters through four planets – Earth, Cybertron, Master, and Chaar fighting the Decepticons. Unlike its predecessor, Mystery of Convoy, players cannot switch between robot and vehicle mode, as they are predetermined by level. Players also cannot choose which Autobot player character to use. Players must collect them throughout the game, because they will be flown in by helicopter and will replace that Autobot when they die. Later, Buster was found in the Arctic due to a distress signal. Cerebros was once again seen when Spike transformed from Fortress Maximus's head to Cerebros and again to Spike's binary-bonded suit to show Buster that he was his brother. Dark Star Once Buster was retrieved and home safe, Spike saw no reason to continue his campaign with the Autobots, and so he tried to return to his previous life. Unfortunately, Decepticons came looking for him, and Spike had to telepathically call on the power of Fortress Maximus's body from space. Cerebros was very (very) briefly seen as Spike transformed into Fortress Maximus's head. The Man in the Machine! The Titans Return Emissary figure is based on the 1987 Spike figure, but whether it truly qualifies as a version of the Spike character is ambiguous. Only available with his partners (both medium and large), Emissary forms the head of Cerebros who in turn forms the head of Fortress Maximus. Emissary can also be used as a head for any other Deluxe, Voyager, or Leader figure in the Titans Return subline of Generations. His robot mode is based on the Headmaster Spike figure, whilst his head mode is the mouthplated design of Cerebros's character model. The dub version of this episode is downright hilarious; most of the memetic quotes spawned by the Omni Productions dub originate from this episode. An eight-chapter manga adaptation of this anime was written by Masami Kaneda and illustrated by Ban Magami as part of their Fight! Super Robot Life Form Transformers: The Comics ( 戦え!超ロボット生命体トランスフォーマー ザ☆コミックス, Tatakae! Chō Robotto Seimeitai Toransufōmā: Za Komikkusu) series. Cerebros's character model's head bears more resemblance to Cog's, as opposed to the Cerebros toy's, which is functionally a smaller version of Fortress Maximus's head.

In a splinter timeline, Spike did not become a Headmaster at first, and by 2011 had focused his energies on diplomacy. He eventually journeyed to planet Master and became a Headmaster via a modified Exo-Suit. In 2021, Spike was embroiled in a scheme concocted by Old Snake that briefly saw him framed for crimes he didn't commit. His name was cleared by his old friend Bumblebee, though. Under the name "Super Fire Convoy", Optimus was a candidate in TakaraTomy's Masterpiece Fan's Choice poll, which asked fans to determine which Autobot/Maximal leader from the franchise's then-30 year history should receive a new toy in the prestigious Masterpiece line. He placed fifth, with 4.9% of the vote. All the major plot threads established since Galvatron's return in " Return of the Immortal Emperor" have been wound up over the last few episodes, culminating in this episode, representing the end of the second "story arc" in The Headmasters and setting the stage for the third and final arc, beginning next episode.Metroplex was constructed in the late 1980s as part of the Autobots' "Scramble City" initiative to develop a powerful battle station. During the early stages of the project, however, when the Autobots were conducting an outdoor test of the unfinished city's transformation to mobile fortress mode, Astrotrain and Reflector were able to monitor the process. The information they acquired allowed Megatron to decipher whether or not Metroplex would be able to stand up to Trypticon. Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers #3 Metroplex's head and guns came with Optimus Prime, his body with Omega Supreme, his left arm with Devastator, his right arm with Megatron, his left leg with Starscream, and his right leg with Ratchet. His name was on a list of Convoy members given by Cheetor to Andromeda. The list noted that he was also known by the moniker Ignition Prime and hailed from universal stream Viron 903.0 Beta. Andromeda - Axiom Nexus News, 2015/05/21 Ignition Prime was present at a meeting of the Convoy after the turmoil caused by the Waruder invasion of Axiom Nexus. Cybertron's Most Wanted

To control an ancient race of giant city-sized warriors called Titans, the Autobots and Decepticons must power up with Titan Masters, smaller bots that give bigger bots increased abilities. Unite and power up for battle with one of the last remaining Titans in the universe, Fortress Maximus! Cog, Gasket, and Grommet were redecoed into Grand Maximus's Cog, Onomisu, and Koka, and Cybertron City's Gadep, Guardia, and Protect. Scourge's attempts to analyse Cerebros's programming were hampered by its complexity; however, he believed that Fortress Maximus was programmed to obey humans. To that end, he amplified his own human bio-energy (obtained when he scanned his alternate mode) and took Cerebros into the desert where the 'bot combined with Fortress Maximus. Once the Autobots had manage to stop Maximus, with the help of many, many children, Cerebros detached and was promptly spirited away by Galvatron. The Human Element Japanese: Brave Maximus (ブレイブマキシマス Bureibu Makishimasu), Cybertron City (サイバトロンシティ Saibatoron Shiti, "Autobot City"), Cybertron Base (サイバトロンベース Saibatoron Bēsu, "Autobot Base") Optimus was left out of the BotCon 2010 Transformers Hall of Fame video tribute to Optimus Prime(s).Lio Convoy's Resistance against the Builders sought to infiltrate Fortress Maximus and free the prisoners within, but their initial attempts were foiled by Cerebros's ability to get into the heads of the intruders and turn them against each other. The third strike team was able to turn the tide by willingly sacrificing Buzzclaw to Cerebros's control and using the mental link to paralyze him, allowing them to kill Kord and Plasma and kidnap Gran, effectively shutting down Maximus. Head Games Discovering that Megatron was holding Sidney Biggles-Jones captive, Spike realized that he had no choice but to bond with Fortress Maximus once more, only to find that Megatron had disabled Maximus's dormant body while rebuilding the Ark, leaving him under-equipped for combat. Caught in the act of donning his armor by fellow stowaway Skydive, Spike combined with Maximus (curiously omitting Cerebros from the process) and explained his presence, then charged Skydive with rescuing Doctor Biggles-Jones while he and Maximus took Megatron on. Unsurprisingly, Megatron grievously wounded the pair, forcing Skydive to step in and distract him long enough for Maximus to escape, and make his way to the Ark's anti-matter power core. Intended to breach the core with his body and destroy the ship, hoping to take Megatron with it, Maximus instructed Spike to disconnect and escape, but Spike resolved to stay with his partner to the end to ensure their success. They smashed into the core together and perished in the resultant ship-destroying explosion, but alas, their sacrifice was in vain, as Megatron survived. All or Nothing!
