Hi Minnie, I too have magnaged to get similar patches on items of clothing (favourite t-shirt and a white cotton shirt). My suggestion would be to redye the tablecloth white. Try and get a white dye that can be used in a washing machine. sorry can't remember what the dye is called but I have done this with great success! Anyway, hope your Mum manages to salvage her lovely tablecloth You can whiten net curtains with Steradent or other denture cleaning tablets. They’re exceptionally good at getting rid of tough grime and for whitening various items. They’re good for net curtains because they’re not too harsh!

If you’re looking for an eco-friendly option made using natural ingredients, Bio-D’s Laundry Bleach could be a good choice. Bio-D’s Laundry Bleach is a good choice if you have sensitive sink, as it’s free from enzymes and synthetic perfumes. It won’t leave behind an unpleasant chemical smell.Of course. ACE for Colours is perfectly suited for children’s clothes, as long as you follow both the instructions on the bottle and the washing instructions on the care label. I have heard that Ace for Colours contains bleach, I’m worried that with continued use will cause my clothes to wear out. As anyone with crisp, white bed sheets knows, keeping your white fabrics bright and clean can be a total chore. That’s why we think an easy-to-use and effective laundry whitener is a necessary item in your laundry care routine. “White fabrics are prone to yellowing with age and use,” explains Krissia Garcia, Founder and CEO of Maryland-based cleaning service Kriss Klean. Do not mix with other bleaching agents. Oxygenated water may have temporary and reversible effects on skin (e.g. whitening).

I am asking this on behalf of my Mum, who has just ruined a new table cloth with ACE laundry bleach. You should really think about removing as much dust as you can off your net curtains before you try and whiten them – hoover them. We used ACE for colours when cleaning some of Erin’s brighter clothes including Cerise Pinks, Turquoises and Purples. ACE for colours is very easy to use – simply add a capful into your washing machine along with your usual detergent or for really difficult stains, you can pre treat the fabrics before they go in. You can also use ACE for Colours with hand washing, adding 100ml of ACE with your usual detergent, soaking for an hour and then rinsing thoroughly.

If however, you do intend to use other added products, start your pre-wash cycle, and while the water is running pour in 1 1/2 cups of ACE (225ml). The product is not suitable for wool, silk, and colored items. In the case of white items with resistant colors, try the product diluted on a hidden part of the fabric. The product is suitable for all nonporous surfaces: floors, tiles, bathtubs, showers, kitchen sinks. Do not use it on copper, brass, aluminum, and porous surfaces such as granite and wood. Do not expose to heat source or directly to sunlight. Keep it in the original bottle. Warning
