Still have mixed feelings whether it is best forking more money to get the Mitakon or spending less and get the 7Artisans which seems to perform closely to the Mitakon. produces soft images wide open, but one would be foolish to expect more from a lens this small and this fast. Unfortunately, it’s only designed to be used on aps-c cameras, as such, that specification is a little less exciting than it would be if it was a full frame lens. I’ve been shooting with it a few months now and have been doing my best to make it fail and it hasn’t. I got Fuji X Mount version and what I can say is that this lens is not for someone who is looking for edge to edge sharpness.
