Applying this stuff is a Summer job. Get the car clean underneath and apply during a dry spell with the car in the sun and when everything warm - including the fluid. Clutching hot waxoil injector thingy, part filled with waxoil and mixed with very very warm white spirit I squirted and soaked the chassis blasting away, and also practising holding my breath as it went misty in the workshop. Haven't done it to mine yet, but father supplied me a tube or two which fell out of the stores doors Saying that the old Waxoyl on the chassis has done a reasonable job, but would rather spend a bit extra on something decent I think. This did not improve the sink/kitchen area one little jot, .....ever tried holding a 'waxoiled cat' in a sink with water and rags, and especially when cat does not enjoy it ?When i started to scrape off my Waxoyl late last year to treat chassis with POR15, i found that water had got in under the Waxoyl & it was actually preventing the moisture from draining away from the chassis

Last Summer I bought a 1960 Morris Minor convertible. It is in pretty good condition - all things considered. Extended spray - Should be used when the standard nozzle just won't reach and when you need to spray a panel that's above you. Can also be used to spray around corners and over parts like exhausts and axles. I decided to use a Waxoil gun and my compressor, I had the propane burner on in the workshop since 3.00pm flat out and it was like the sahara, in fact it was so hot I decided a T-shirt and shorts was the dress code.Should be used to spray inside places that cannot be reached from outside, such as box sections, inner sills and chassis rails.

I assume you want cavity wax injecting into the panels, sills, etc, as well as Waxoyl underseal on the underside and in wheel arches? This is the sort of thing the specialists will do for you. You can watch 'em work, take photos, etc, but you don't have to get yourself dirty. :)I've researched an absolute ton of rustproofing products, including Waxoyl and Dinitrol. There's also one called POR-15. Most specialists seem to use Waxoyl. Everyone recommends different products based on what has worked for them, so its really hard to decide on which is best.
