In 120 iPhone and iPad drawings, the artist records his perceptions of the world from the window of his Yorkshire home. Alongside the classic genres of portraiture and landscape, he always kept evolving his art, using technologies such as Polaroids, photocopiers and fax machines, digital video, or the iPhone and iPad as tools for his painting. My Window (set of 4)" celebrates the act of looking and invites us to appreciate the ordinary moments that surround us with a renewed sense of wonder. It is perhaps an exercise in how restricting an artist’s subject matter and materials can open new facets of perception and imagination.
