The plot in this book was just so much fun to follow. I was really invested in the world and how much world-building went into it. I just loved seeing what would happen next and I was very interested in seeing what it would be. This story just kept me super engaged in the story and I thought it was a lot of fun to read. The world in this book was just built very nicely and it gave the book such a fun element while I was reading and it just made me even more engaged in the story. I actually think this one is my favorite so far in the series. The story is based off of Eros and Psyche - which is another favorite Olympian couple. The two main leads revolve two characters we seen previously- Ariana (Elena’s younger sister) and Cash (Lenny’s older brother.) It can be read as a stand alone, although best be read with the previous four books beforehand. I love your temper, and your attitude, and that soft passionate heart you keep hidden away from plain sight. Separately, together, it doesn't matter- anything at all that you give me, I want, forever.” Yesterday, when she bared herself before me, I didn't allow myself to look. These two really complimented each other and I just kept wanting more of their story! It felt like their love story was the least chaotic in the series and the most endearing. The best time to read a book depends on your personal schedule and preferences. I liked the dark romance aspects, but everything felt really disjointed to me. Smut was pretty A+, and I really enjoyed the dark romance aspect of it. One thing I enjoy about Miller's writing is that there's no morally gray, it's just dark romance. My morals kept trying to push their way in, but honestly I enjoyed the possessiveness, the push and pull, and crazy wild chemistry of the characters. However, a big however.. I felt like their interactions were just so haphazard. I got a handle on it maybe in the middle third of the book, kinda, but I got whiplash with very little context about what was happening from one moment, one line to the next. I felt very thrown around and didn't know what was happening or why and not in a good way.Sav R. Miller proved it again!! I already knew this story was gonna be superb.
