Very happy, would recommend to anyone replacing an old shower fed from a water cylinder and loft tank.

If I have any cons it would be to say that the drilling holes are not the same, it's not a complete retrofit and the unit is slightly larger overall than its predecessor so unless you have sufficient clearance from any adjacent walls it may cause a problem but other than that, as a professional kitchen and bathroom installer this is the best thermostatic shower I have ever instaled, and I get to prove it's worth every day!The recommended replacement shower has larger dimensions allowing for marks/holes left by previous shower to be concealed. This was a replacement for an earlier Triton thermostatic shower, which turns out it didn't need replacing after all! However, I'm really glad we did as this is overall a far better shower. Okay, the water pressure doesn't go as high as the previous one but I never had it gushing out anyway. It's not quite silent but is a world away from the noise of our old one, and it looks so much better on the wall than the previous one.

If I have one criticism of the SR model, it is the design of the control knobs. Triton have gone for a more minimalist design. so the knobs are flat with smooth edges. With wet hands, changing the flow or temperature can be a challenge as you cannot always get a good grip on them. Triton’s silent running thermostatic power shower is so quiet that when the water is running, you won’t hear the pump, and as such has been awarded the Quiet Mark award of approval. Adjustable maximum temperature stop - Reduces the risk of accidentally turning the temperature too high Amazingly quiet for a power shower (the plumber didn't think it was working). Shower unit was easy replacement to fit. Only downside was regarding the risers which are not of a standard size with older Triton models and therefore require more holes to drill in tiles. But this Triton shower is more than just a pretty face. It also comes with some great features that make it a perfect replacement for your existing power shower. For instance, it has multiple cable and water entry points, including the Triton Swivel-Fit water inlet, enabling top, rear or bottom entry for easy installation. It also features an adjustable maximum temperature stop which is especially handy if you have little ones in the house who might accidentally turn the temperature up too high.I’ve been using previous model for many years and the temp control started playing up. Decided to still using Triton brand which is now this model AS2000SR. To replace it took me about 90mins. I was following Triton’s instructions and video. It was quite simple and straight forward. Due to be a bit different shape new holes had to be drilled - I recommend to use Bosch Expert drill to make new holes in tiles. New power shower is silent and to compare to old version is a massive difference. I really recommend this shower unit… my tenant is very happy I like the internal design where it uses an isolation transformer to power the sealed brushless motor and control board. It should be very safe electrically! Some say, the flow rate isn't as good but when I measured it on full power against my old Triton it came out to be the same at 9 l/m however at the mid position it was only 4.5 l/m compared to 6 l/m for the old one. That was using the hose and shower head in the mid position. Still it's good to save water and energy and my wife can't tell the difference... I refitted my bathroom in the noughties, don't remember when exactly but it would have been 2004/2005. I opted for the predecessor of the predecessor of the AS200SR and it gave us many years of good service. In 2019 it finally started to underperform so we opted to replace it with the AS2000XT, which was troublesome from the start.

I decide to replace it with the AS2000SR because it was a retrofit model and wouldn't involve a lot of destructive plumbing work and I have to say that the results have been mind-blowing.

We were replacing a failed unit we had restored in 2012 which had always performed well if noisily. I have changed the spray head to one that has the little ceramic balls in and that's improved the feel of pressure so much so that it doesn't need to be on full power all the time. Needed a replacement power shower as our previous Galaxy power shower eventually failed. The Triton seemed the best replacement type for size and to meet our existing gravity fed H & C supply. Thermostatic peace of mind - Consistently holds water temperature regardless of changes to water pressure We got it as a replacement for another Triton one. We must have had it more than fifteen years! The new one fitted into the space perfectly so no extra tiling. Although it is deeper than the old one. It's looks great and fitting was relatively straightward. In use it is great and i am so pleased. I wanted another Triton because of the the last one. There is a hum but you expect some sound! Delivery was great also.
