Kickstarting Side Two with “Until The End Of The World” is like hearing another album beginning (which is how the best Side Two experiences often play out). Artwork based on the original, expanded to accommodate 2 LPs, and includes a lyric sheet plus Download. Sleeve in excellent condition, barely noticeable storage wear, very minimal edge wear and corner wear, strong spine, very clean. What they’ve done instead is offer fans a “digital box” (coming on 3 December) that includes Uber Remixes, Unter Remixes and B-Sides with “22 tracks never before available digitally”. I always thought the sound of both the initial CD version and the remastered CD version were much to dense and compressed, surely owed to the very "fat" multi-track production.

If they can make an 11LP box out of All That You Can’t Leave Behind then the appetite will be there for Achtung Baby. Even as late as the Joshua Tree, U2's stories had political and social depth, though the pretentiousness had started creeping in by then. So, again, the vinyl warming effect is very helpful in managing the sometimes intentionally gritty textures which make this album a unique listen.
